I like to add a packet of Ranch Dressing mix to the potroast before putting in the oven... it's great!
ОтветитьHi, you made a delicious pot roast look beautiful I've never tried to make this however we can make it to impress other people as well I think in this slat corn starch are the initial ingredient thanks. This video is interesting and helpful for everyone thanks.
ОтветитьMy american husband was wanting a pot roast, I had no idea what it was. I see it's pretty basic, so I should be able to do this. For some reason I imagined it to be very oily and watery and that sounded gross to me. But this looks doable! Guess I'll have to save this one to make later!
ОтветитьNeExt time try to tell people the quantities for all ingredients….”some of this and some of that” just doesn’t cut it for everyone…
ОтветитьYou sound like you’re about to stroke out? Are you good?
ОтветитьEvery video says perfect pot roast!!
ОтветитьI love that serving dish. Where can we buy that?
ОтветитьAnyone try this in an Instapot ?
ОтветитьThank you for this sweet and short tutorial. I haven't made PR in awhile and was really really helpful! I'm hosting Christmas day and want the food to be tasty. I think my carnivores will enjoy. :) Cheers! xo
ОтветитьIt look dry
ОтветитьI am going to try this recipe to make my next pot roast. I want it really tender. In the past, my pot roast turns out hard. I figured out looking at this video I am not letting it cook long enough. Thanks for this video.
ОтветитьGreat recipe How do u clean your Dutch oven,
ОтветитьGot this in the oven now. Helpful advise. Never use metal anything on those Dutch ovens
ОтветитьThank you beautiful snow bunny 😘for showing me how to cook this… 2023.. Yum
ОтветитьThe Meat Move from a "Bad Boy" to "Look at her!!!"
ОтветитьI’ve used this recipe a few times now…..so easy and so good. Not sure what Marsala is….I used beef broth plus some red wine vinegar for acidity.
Ответитьis there a link to this recipe anywhere?
ОтветитьThis was the best roast I ever made!!!! Ugh thank you!:)
ОтветитьMade this a few months ago for my husband. We loved the simple but super delicious recipe. I’m having a dinner party tonight and I’m making this
ОтветитьIf u don't want to use corn starch for health reasons, Arrowroot is a great alternative.

ОтветитьNot a metal utensil scraping the bottom of a le creuset 💔
ОтветитьI'm doing this for Thanksgiving. Thank you!
Ответить3 1/2 teaspoons of salt?
ОтветитьShe just called the Roast a her? Wtf
ОтветитьMade it. 10/10. Liked and subbed!
ОтветитьThere’s nothing I hate more that cooking videos that don’t leave the ingredients in the description and make go all the way to the website just to not find it
ОтветитьFresh cold meat out for half an hour before cooking? Turns brown and NASTY looking! Disguise it with onions!!
ОтветитьWhat size Dutch oven is that?
ОтветитьYou should change the title of this video to include the fact that you really should make this recipe with a cast iron dutch oven which I don't have...I used a roasting pan. The meat turned out pretty good but the potatoes and carrots had no flavor and were largely under done. They maybe should've been put back into the oven in phase two at a higher oven temp. The masala wine added the most amazing aroma while it was initially cooking. I've made pot roast a few times now but have yet to make it to my satisfaction on the veggie part.
ОтветитьWhat a wonderful recipe, and very timely! I will make this for our anniversary. I'm so impressed by your cooking and happy to have found you! Thank you!
ОтветитьWhy do you peel carrots?
ОтветитьJust made it, awesome😊😊😊
ОтветитьIs this dutch over huge . . . or is she just tiny 🤔 . . . its got to be her. Because the cutting board is huge now. Lol its like alice in wonderland cooking. 🖤 . . . now im wondering how she even lifted the dutch oven. She can pull her own weight thats for shur.
ОтветитьWould it absolutely crazy to add Brussel sprouts too?!
ОтветитьThis channel is a joke....marsala in a chuck roast...wtf?
ОтветитьGreat recipe. I use muscatel (a sweet sherry) not the grocery store kind, go to the liquor store. It adds amazing flavor. I had to make a vegetarian version of pot roast. For the veg peeps. It only took an hour i used 4 veggie patties 2 each on top of the onions and used veggie broth and of course all the veg. Carrots, potatoes, and celery.
ОтветитьI added a little beef stock and red wine as well. Everyone raved about the meal. There were no left overs!!!!
ОтветитьLooks delish and easy ,thank you .
Ответитьcan someone tell me what marsala is? is it the wine itself or a pre-made sauce? the recipe has no ingredients listed
ОтветитьToo much background music
Ответитьthis will be my first pot roast. It’s in the oven now .
ОтветитьPot Roast for Idiots. REAL Yankee Pot Roast is cooked WITH the root vegetables, then once the pot roast is done, the vegetables are mashed, pulverized, whatever you do and THAT makes your gravy. I'm sure this tastes great, but it's not traditional to cook a pot roast without the root vegetables. In a crock pot? Veg on the bottom, since heat rises as we all know and the meat takes longer to cook. I applaud, but I swear I'm starting my OWN channel now LOL
Ответитьway too few veggies
ОтветитьWhat were those black potatoes?
ОтветитьMoney! Money! Money!
ОтветитьChrist, why do people keep saying "fall off the bone" when there's no motherfucking bone to begin with??????
ОтветитьTried your recipe and LOVED IT
ОтветитьI think this will be Yummy
ОтветитьBeen cooking for about 45 years and I have made pot roast and seen others make their version of this wonderful dish. I enjoyed this video. I just like to see how others are doing their thing! Anyway this is a classic and I thought she did a really good job. It wasn’t overly long or complicated. The chuck roast cooks up tender and delicious. One thing I want to mention, while she did touch on the slurry, for those that enjoy more gravy beef broth or Au jus can be blended with the roast juices/gravy and and thickened to the desired consistency along with salty and savor flavors if needed. The blending with the cooked juices keeps adding additional salt to a minimum. Nice video and simply spot on!!
