They made the janissaries so far in the series pretty immature and weak-minded. I mean even if their pay is being delayed, they should still find coping strategies to balance their impatience and stay strong until their salary has arrived.

Shame there is no happiness for these people. Just stress and darkness, thats not life. Its just sad.

The writers of this series are certainly quite devious. To steal the treasury from Egypt, then ask to be paid back is dirty, and I'm glad Ahmed gets even with that Safiye the transvestite.

When Ahmet slapped iskender for winning I knew I'm gonna hate his character, I don't care if he was kind or innocent he is so emotional and ignorant in my opinion, which isn't mature at all.

one thing abt this series i've noticed is that its a lot more dark and depressing and its not even just the story, im watching scenes and i'll notice how the rooms and visuals are so dull and dark as compared to magnificent century. like sure things got serious towards the end with all the feuds and backstabbing but at the start at least it was lighthearted and cheery. the visuals in this have been just dreary since day one which is definitely an interesting contrast

They were great Sultan in their country hisrory. But for the rest of us, they were just tyrants who committed so many cold-blooded crimes starting within their own family and abused their power. There is nothing to be proud of such a disgraceful people, starting from Kosem, who murdered all her sons so she could hold on to power. Ahmed still wet behind his ears, but the thought of absolute power makes him invincible. 😂😂😂😂😂
