Is TEKKEN 8 Best Fighting Game of the Era?

No. Its an OK game game that can be fixed with a simple patch but they choose to break the game further rather than nerf a single character. And basically, multiplayer is all i car about because....

The story has been complete garbage starting with Tekken 6, arguably 5. The cash grab that is the Battle Trash brings the game down a notch too. So the game has been ruined with this latest patch but it has potential to make a comeback and be an OK game. Bc right now its not even ok. They knew characters were broken and they decided to double down on that and release the game like that.

As a Tekken veteran, its hard to completely drop the game. I'll give them time to fix the multiplayer but the game has too many issues right now. And the arcade thing is not an argument to defend it bc they had pros try it, they said it was broken, they had an open beta which is waaaaaay more players than any arcade could ever hope of having, they said it was broken. And they still released the game like that.

I'm no pro, just a casual veteran somewhat carried by legacy skill. Reached blue ranks with no Heat, no Tekken 8 gimmicks and no combos. Reached Tekken King with some combos. I'm a Tekken fan that can give honest criticism on really the only game that i still play.

I’m having a great time learning these combos wall-to-wall right but T7 I feel like it was far better. Everyone was balanced, except for DLC. This game nothing feels right certain characters, not having the tools that was in 7 that worked really well for them just gets NERFED in 8 and it feels like more scummy play style in 8 Azucena, Paul, Dragonov, and xio , king , Victor characters, feel like you can just do a chunk of damage off of three movs versus the rest of the characters you have to actually put in work, which wasn’t like that in T7 you have to put in work with everybody in that game lol

The game is so good players are dropping it in rates never seen before and the ones who still play either complain all day or have to ragequit to get around the terrible ranked ladder or terrible balance

Been playing tekken 8 for a while now and i had a great time with the game definitely is better than the new mortal kombat game im sorry but it's true in my opinion much better launch with more to offer compared to mortal kombat 1s very rushed launch

After 135 hrs, in my opinion Tekken 8 is the perfect FG even though it gets me frustrated (in ranked) sometimes. However, the game is complete and respected my $100 purchase and time, I never been good at FGC but with this game after trying SF6 which was fun and (boring) MK1 I would say Tekken is perfect for me.
