I quit Facebook 8 years ago and Insta was on and off for me and did everything to keep it less distracting by being a occasionally posting.I finally deleted it a year ago. I think most people on Instagram suffer from FOMO! Also, they think they won’t be able to establish connection without being on insta.

Worst part about social media is seeing your depressed friend taking a selfie with a big smile!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder what happens to all these 18-25 year old girls, when the next generation of young girls replace them on IG. Washed up and hopeless at 25 years old with no skills beyond mastering photos and their phone. It really is a sad commentary on where social media has gone.

About 5 years ago, I whacked my FaceBook down from 700+ folks down to the 100 that mattered. Family & friends who lived far away that I could share pictures of my 3yr old son with. THIS is what I thought social media was suppose to be about.
