Drago OG vs Reboot | Bakugan

OG Drago is basically Superman and Captain America in their true essences and in the body of a skyscraper-sized dragon body.

Reboot Drago is more of a hothead (both in the literal and metaphorical meaning of the word "hot") and is overall more similar to a more immature Goku.

I'm not saying it's a bad thing. The reboot's writers simply expressed their personal vision and version of the character, but I much prefer OG Drago.

Also, imagine what an interaction between OG Drago and Optimus Prime would be like.

I like how for the OG clip you chose a scene of him being bad ass, and for the Reboot you chose clips from scenes that literally could not have made him look any stupider lol. (the reboot is cooler then that)

Why do reboots usually go in goofy directionsr? OG drago is probably my favorite example of a noble warrior.

I can't believe they had to drag the original VA for Drago in the reboot. I feel like he only did it, just to get a quick buck. While in the original show, he sounds like he is actually trying to voice a character.

Between the content and the music, OG bakugan was crazy good! I remember it got to the point where Dan and the blondie there were flat out punching each other!

Just like Ben 10 and Teen Titans, the reboot is not but an insult to the OG.

Why don’t they bring back the original concept of drago and bakugan brawls because those were the golden memories

Gen 1 Drago hits different (pun intended)
The other Dragos are fun too (its funny to see Gen 3 Dragi trying to be a drive thru seller only for him to take 1 hour to deliver something), but the old Drago will always have that "wise team dad" energy to him.

The reboot of bakugan is ok but it will never surpass the og bakugan the og bakugan I watched when it was on the air on cartoon network

Dragons are not just powerhouse but also the wisest. So Drago in OG is the true definition of a dragon. Powerful yet wise. Yet the reboot is like trying to be Omega Xis but with low IQ.

What i only dislike about the original dragonoid is the constant multiple evolution which makes the perfect core seems insignificant and the power he gains from outside force while the rebooted dragonoid his argument and speech of wanting to battle and tiko about wanting to end battle was very weak i get from tiko's perspective that there are some bakugans that don't want to fight or who are weak to fight just to keep the planet strong and from drago's point of view he enjoys battle and he thinks so does everyone not a good point though.

The first encounter of a bakugan related thing was a bakugan ball that i had i had no idea it was from bakugan then i discovered it was from bakugan and stuff the reboot aint too bad for me atleast it only got bad in geogan for me and the newer reboot sucks even more

OG is best and recently Drago....got...umm let's just say that he is...working at a drive thru now...they massacred our boi

And then G3 came out a few weeks ago, and essentially made Drago a fad-chasing athlete...

reasons why og is the better Drago. OG: Not afraid to fight, but prefers to talk it out. A team player, willing to let others take center stage if it means improving their combined abilities to win. Understanding and a better fit for his brawler. You could feel the chemistry there from the start, even if Dan and Drago didn't see it until the 4th episode. A perfect complement to his brawler. Clearly not a machine as evidence by the fact that OG Drago's true form.

Reboot: hot headed, only cares about fighting, annoying. Not much of a team player. Not very understanding, and a poor fit for his brawler. Hard to tell if Drago is a robot that's shaped to be a dragonoid or a dragonoid that's shaped like a robot.

They nerfed shun badly

A giant magical dragon uppercutting a mostly mechanical giant dragon while telling him EXACTLY why "You ain't it chief"... This is what I came for.

But you know who is even cooler than OG Darago? Darkus Helios
