I wish my baby pediatrician would listen and stop thinking I worry too much. Even tho my son is 6 months. He does some of these signs already. But the peditrician seem to think i worry too much

My 2 year old grandson is waiting to be diagnosed but he has most if not all of the signs, eg lack of eye contact, fussy with food, jumping on the spot, sudden out bursts of crying or sudden laughing. Hes such a good boy, i look after him every day all day while his parents work, i have a good routine for him, i keep him busy, out walking, playing at the park etc, although he does prefer his own company. As yet hes not aggressive nor does he show any signs of aggression, hopefully that continues as i am 69 years old so not sure i could cope with that at my age. I absolutely love him to bits even though he doesnt show effection, i just hope he continues to be a happy boy as he gets older.

I used to rock and sing nonsense all the time. I craved it. I don't have all the features of autism as I am extroverted. It's all about me. I am lazy. I was considered weird back then.

I don’t have asd but I have adhd, I used to be very aggressive as a kid but now that I’m 22 (in 2 days), I have gotten better with my aggressive behaviour

Daycare not taking Autism in because some need 24 hour care and they are labilities I hope these children get the proper care it not easy

This message is for any moms who is worried that their kid might be autistic. So my daughter did not respond to her name until she was 21 months old(after we took away the iPad), started pointing using her index finger only after she turned 22 months old, walked on her tiptoes all the time, used to rock her head in public and had many tantrums per day and did not say her first words until she was 21 months. She also used to do the side eyed thing as well. 😅 She is currently 28 months old and NOT AUTISTIC and totally neurotypical. She was slow at speaking but has completely caught up and can put up to 5 words together in addition to knowing around 300 words. We also had her formally evaluated. So no need to panic just because your kid shows some of these signs.

Autism is not a cause of concern. Everyone has different personality. Message to psychologists: Stop thinking kids as minions.

Autism is a silent way of neurophysician to say "come and fill my pocket".
All these are signs of baby growth...sometimes use slap therapy when a kid goes wild and trust me it really works much better then the medicine your crazy physician gives you... slap has the potential to put back all the lose connections in the brain...

On the other hand if your child is really born crazy then thats a different story...but most of the time its not that way...these medicine in its self has the potential to turn normal person into a zombie...

Hi Autism family, Ahhh Alistair, He waa one of the 1st ever children I ever seen that was like my son. Can I ask you something and Im not being imflamarory, off, odd or combative, had there been any major incidents surrounding the birth? You may say, "no my wife had a straight forward elective C section with our sons" Had anything occured, I ask because the multifactorial elements coming together ie not just genetic disposition (other Autistic people in the family) is gaining gravity, like a coming together of factors? Our son lost oxygen at birth over hours, over several episodes which was oud main insult. As a person with actual Autism,i see this video as facts. But instead of those symptoms,now i have a high tendency of sounds directly near my ears and i don't act autistic although i am.


Ps:I ain't self diagnosing,I was born with autism also,but i am more high functioning and aware of my symptoms.

But there are parents for whst ever reason do not bond with the child, and just give videos that are just for entertainment not learning all day since 4 months old and have older siblings take care of the baby when they cant take care of themselves let alone know what a baby needs and the baby is also not being fed enough. Well this child can soon act like autisum and a Doctor will think so too, if the parent doesnt tell the whole truth on how the baby was taken care of from 3 months to 2 years old.

How can your son have eye contact, if you look on him through your camera, don't fool him. And the mom sitting crossing hands is so unwelcome. Maybe you are also smoking and smell very unpleasant, so don't blame the little guy for not connecting with you.
