Is ADAS Safe for India?

These ADAS features can be not of much use in Indian bumper to bumper and indisciplined driving where any one can squeeze in and come .😅

Can we switch off this useless thing?

Nicely explained in details. In spite of driving safely I met with an accident due to tailgating by cab driver who bumped on my car when I decreased my speed. People in India should drive carefully and change casual attitude.

eh sab ek professional driver ko confuse & irritate karta hai ..... And more over jo hamari driving ki skilset hai usko karab kardegi. I personally don't choose ADAS.

Rear cross traffic alert is safe in theory but in city like mumbai where scooters and autos try to come as near as possible the car stops. And after it stops these autos and scooters start moving and crossing. So you will be stuck at that place forever in heavy traffic. Cherry on top, this feature cannot be disabled permanently...

Can you please tell us how does ADAS work in hilly areas because there are lots of buyers from himachal, northeast region,Most of the roads here are not upto the marks to avail the features of ADAS and congestion of traffic in hilly areas are high. According to which the sudden brake assist may cause accidents .

As a Creta owner. Depending on ADAS , the collision braking is so powerful but the seat belt auto locking keeps you in place
