I love this band

I just found out about these guys, watching Nick’s granny video, and they are fucking amazing! I tried listening to the previous album, rehab from 2019,, and it didn’t have this same energy. The choruses felt more like fallout boy… There’s a rift between their past, and this evolution with the new vocalist that makes all of that almost unlistenable by comparison.

there is a bit where, I think,
Pascal is asked to introduce himself
and he says:
"What do they say when they are the first man on Mars? Or on the Moon?
Hi, I am the first person on a mound in Bottrop."

Bottrop being a nearby Ruhr town - with some big old spoil heaps.
I laughed my ass off as I grew up watching Dr Who
and they did so many things in quarries and on spoil heaps etc.

"Die Kebekus" btw is german pseudo-comedian sropping over the top, hardcore-feminist lines to leech off of current year, which is why it is both funny and appropriate that she is strapped to a sausage drifting away in space.

The Reference to the "blblblblblblbl"-Thing is the movie "La soupe aux choux" ("The_Cabbage_Soup") with Louis de Funès. 'Cabbage' means 'Kohl' in german. in german the movie is called "Louis und seine außerirdischen Kohlköpfe", which means "Louis and his extraterrestrial Cabbage-Heads". 'Cabbagehead' can also be used as a swear word in german, meaning with a sense of humour.
So after Finch is doing his "blblblblblb" he says "Hier sind die Kohlköpfe, ja" ("Here are the cabbageheads").

I hope Disney doesn't go after them for using a Twilek in their video.

Since you mentioned who made the video, all of their Videos are produced by Paskal Schillo (guitarist of EC) and his brother Oliver Schillo. They have a Video Production Company known as "Schillo Brothers" and thats the Deal. The Band and Oliver workinbg out a concept and then Paskal and Oliver producing the Videos in the end.

Its nearly crazy how much work these guys are doing on their own, not only Musical-vise.

I think that it's just downfall in live stream .. monotematic, since hypa-hypa they were not able to come with anything new .. even drummer has nothing better to do than to still repeat that one move which was original and cool in hypa-hypa but now when repeated for 10th time it's just meh ..
