I could do without all the Wagner commercials. I have had experience with 2 of them and I wouldn't take another 1 free of charge. Spurting clogging, dripping. Did all I could do to make those work. Never happened. You've had much success good for you. May it continue

The vase turned out the best along with the chair- the clunker was the painting, the room needs COLOR and the size of the frame for that mantel space was way too small. Thanks for teaching us about spray painting with a paint gun though :)

all beautiful upcycles. wondering if you apply a seal coat to the paint for the chair after the paint dries? I know the Silk brand said all in one including a top coat, but does it actually give you a good durable finish that keeps the paint from chipping/flaking?

For the textured lamp, try some "Pumpkin" paint by Waverly. It's orange, I know - but... Mix the pumpkin with baking soda to make a rough chalk paint. It will give the lamp or vase the right amount of texture. Then go over it with Waverly's white wax once it has had a couple of days to dry. Stand back and marvel at your new clay vase that looks like the terracotta flower pot material. If you find a lamp or vase with raised designs it will turn out even better. My lamp has bamboo shoots. In the terracotta clay look, I would guess it cost over $200 or more.

I have 6 of the orange-y oak chairs! I am going to paint them black, like you. Did you put some type of poly on top?

Fabulous job! Many years ago, my dear Aunt used to be the buyer in a high-end luggage/leather store and she also dressed the windows. She would make occasional buying trips to NYC and I thought that was so cool! Anyway, she learned a lot about interior design. She told me that something black in the room was like the 'eyebrows' on the face. It grounds the room and gives it depth and interest. I have always followed her advice. I have some of her decorative things that I use. She had great taste and her things are still stylish after all these years. Keep up the good work Christina! 🥀
