Farage is correct in much of what he says regarding what can happen when "values" conflict between cultures, but it seems to me he has difficulty in specifically defining values from the perspective of the individual-starting with what a human's freedom is, how does it present & why does it matter as a principle. Stop grasping at straws like differences in religion, cricket, monarchy etc, etc. The basic argument is about coercion of the individual by others, not irrelevant institutions.

When I bought a house in Stockport in 1988 I was given a 100% mortgage at 3.5 times my annual salary. People are now borrowing 13 times. The ability to buy a house is the result of a failure to regulate lending.

This is how Islamism spread through cruel acts of aggression. And this pressure still occurs in certain countries. Catholicism spread in the world similarly until maybe the twentieth century. Communism, even if it is not a religion, denies any faith and propagates atheism and discriminates more or less obviously the religious people.

This is a situation that many people have been increasingly concerned about for many years.
