Depending on the mental and not giving into temptation test i think i might fair well. However I would not survive the dangerous unforgiving planets where you have to go through sub zero temperatures, far worse wildlife and limited resources. I mean i haven't even gone camping. If anything I think they just put me in a warehouse to help load up supplies or something 😂. Or maybe an intern.

It should be worth mentioning that your chances of surviving the implantation process also largely depend on which chapter you happen to have been selected.
For example:
After waking from surgery the Space Wolves candidates have a feast awaiting them. Thereby providing their bodies with the nutrients and energy for healing and recovery.
On the other hand the Blood Angels (if memory serves correctly) demand a period of fasting and prayer after surgery. Denying the injured body nutrients, energy and further draining it of reserves to function let alone heal.
