Decriminalizing drugs isn't the issue here, and recriminalizing isn't the solution. Does nothing for the root problem, like the fact that the housing market is absolutely insane.

If making drugs legal makes them safer, why hasn’t their government lifted their restrictions on firearms! That should make them safer right!?… but in this case it would make the people safer!

Just remember the country needs to actually provide drugs standards wait periods mental checks and other things to make decriminalization effective

As a person who lives in British Columbia I don’t live in the bad places but I’ve been to Vancouver I was horrified when I saw everything I’m scared of going into big cities sketchy areas
