It doesnt work all the time, usually landscape is used when you are including a large table or plot, if the table rolls over the original portrait then despite the page breaks/section breaks the change in page setup rolls over onto the other pages. It is high-way robbery my miocrosoft not fixing this issue for over a decade. Again why does microsoft not recieve and vet feedback?

ОтветитьIf your page numbers become a mess because of the section break stuff, just like it happened to me, I just found a solution :
1- Remove all the page numbers :
Insert -> Page Numbers -> Remove Page Numbers
2- Add pages numbers on each section (I hope you understand thanks to the video what a section is) :
Double-click at the end of your 1st page to activate the footer -> Page Numbers -> Format Page Numbers -> Select "Continue from previous section"
At this point, you should have correct page numbers on all Double-click at the end of your 1st page to activate the footer
Double-click at the end of your 1st landscape oriented page to activate the footer -> same steps as before
Double-click at the end of the page after your landscape oriented page to activate the footer -> same steps as before
Etc.
By applying this method, your page numbers should be good on your whole Word document
The only issue I haven't managed to solve yet is that page numbers don't appear on the landscape oriented pages. But at least they are taken into account for the page count so it's okay
Cheers!
Very helpful. Thanks.👍
