Talking about B2B vs B2C man that’s so real. I’m an entrepreneurial type but I ended up doing chemical sales for the Fortune 500 out of college. They gave me a 5.1M goal, I sold them 7.2M in profit and immediately left to start my own business dealing direct with consumers haha.

Best salesman I’ve ever met was a waiter, he would have people eating lobster for breakfast and day drinking 😂 he was just so charming and spoke only a little bit of English but strangely enough most of his regulars were non Spanish speaking, they where just in awe of how he made them understand with just hand movements and chopped up English

(Later on he learned English and is still the top waiter at the restaurant where I used to work)

Learning to focus on becoming relationship smart, connecting with people on a genuine people level, asking questions to find out their need and (hopefully) being able to fill it, is the crux of the matter. Sellers sell. Business owners find the need and solve it.
