SKYFALL | 007 Meets Silva – Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem | James Bond

It's come to my understanding that he was saying that he and James along with the other agents were like the rats in his monologue. Silva felt that M was trying to get rid of all of them.

I don't like the point about resurrection. Why would he exchange power at this stage? No! Bond would never ever do that. Not This bond. The one that's trying to be all hard again. He falls out of character. It would have worked for Roger but not here..

Imagine the Production Design that went into this reveal, all those bare servers, the laptops being completely modified. They really set up an almost alien world for Silva that he's built, only for him to speak of the most primitive methods of survival.

Audio quality is really low, too soft or quiet. Can barely hear much or make out what they are saying. Could be better.

rewatching this scene, another tidbit i found so curious was the foreshadowing of that childhood trauma. but in the moment, silva almost respected bond too much to bring it up any further
