Mobvoi Ticwatch Pro 5 - Best Smartwatch of 2023? Everything you need to Know!

Typing this message whilst wearing my TWP from 2018 on my wrist and ordered new TWP5 Sandstone color. They are built to last for years without any issue. Only upgrading because old one is very slow now and got marks on the dial. Excellent detailed review.

Now is it time for me to upgrade from my Samsung Galaxy watch 4 classic 42mm? I'm thinking it may be. To be able to go 4 -6 days between charges would be amazing (versus daily now). My only concern is if this watch will look too big/bulky on my female arm? I think my wrist is actually about 7 inches, same as yours, so I would hope it doesn't look too big. Does the Pro 5 have fatigue assessment (like the Tickwatch Pro 3 Ultra) or anything equivalent to Garmin's body battery feature please?

I have them. 24h health monitoring + 12/24h Bluetooth to mobile connect + GPS off : 2.5-3 days of battery work max.
Also: they searching GPS very very bad. Very long awaiting. Samsung searching for seconds, ticwatch 5 pro - 3-5 minutes. It's very bad when you want to go for a walk or gym, you should stay and wait..
Also dynamic sould is quiet. GW4 for example sounds much louder.
Anything else - great, especially CPU and fast work of whole system interface.

Never go for Ticwatch Ever, A Brand withpathetic Service. Don"t gave guarantee on watches bought from Amazon or other retailers except Mobvoi website. i used ticwatch 2 pro a super sluggish watch. none of the feature working properly. battery so pure that it don"t even complete one single day with normal working. i used tic-watch one also it was little better. but battery get exhausted within one year and broke out the ceramic back panel out. stay away from it. i have used two Tic-Watches till now. none of them up to the mark

Do you know if it's possible to pair the watch with an iPhone? I've got the watch and need to upgrade my phone but want to know what I'm limited to in that regard

lol i just got my watch today, and i am happy with it so far. It didn't take no time to pair the watch with my LG Velvet, nice. The notifications are impressive on the dial.

did you try open water swimming ? I want to know if it is durable if I swam a lot at the sea.

Does gps still work when the watch is not carried with the phone?
But it won't show the location if trying to track it?

i have had mine for a week. i'm still thinking of returning it. the documentation is scant. the sleep tracking seems buggy.

Ticwatch Pro 6 should be equipped dual screens MIP and OLED for even longer battery life...

can you try receiving whatsapp voice call and other voip calls? does the tic watch actually display those notifications?

I get 4 days with my TWP3 GPS. An extra 2 days with TWP5 is awesome.
The only problem I have with my TWP3 GPS is that the sensor lights keep flashing overnight whilst sitting on my night stand. This adds to battery drain. Therefore its great to hear that the watch goes into essential mode when not being worn.

Love it! But that red circle on the crown is misleading. It makes you think that it has LTE, similar to A** Watch.

what's the vibration motor/haptic feedback like? I loved the Pro 3 Ultra in all ways except for the really bad vibration motor - really high-pitched noisy vibration that you couldn't really feel but could clearly hear! Not very discrete! I'm hoping it was due to mostly plastic body whereas the Pro 5 should have vibration simmilar to GW4 Classic of Huawei Watch 3 where vibration is pretty strong but still quiet/discrete?

Wow, all their watch faces are so cartoony. Aren't there some clean decent analog looking faces with extra info?
Do the Tic Health, Exercise, etc apps sync to Google Fit? I would not want my stuff in a new ecosystem all of a sudden. Fit only allows steps to be synced up to it now I think, nothing else.

Does this thing have a sapphire crystal display? That makes it worth it or not. It's the difference between getting scratches and looking flawless 10 years later ( I still have an original Huawei Watch. Screen looks brand new. Body and Milanese band have very slight surface scratches. A decade of daily use...)

Great watch will probably buy it but PAY ATTENTION bedore buying, the costumer support is BAD and doesn't offer a repair service. You have to take a lot of care !

Compare to ticwatch 3 ultra pro GPS ?

Mobvoi promised to update Ticwatch pro 3 and Ticwatch pro 3 ultra to Wear Os 3 but it didn't happen and I am still waiting for that update which it seems it will never come! with this situation I won't buy any other smartwatch from this company again!

I was impressed with the AI voice assistant of Ticwatch 2. Ticwactch 3 Pro has Google Assistance, does ticwatch Pro 5 have one?

Overpriced piece of trash. A hundred bucks more than a 10 times better Samsung Watch 5 Pro.

With the current condition of Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra, it is hard to convince me for getting a Ticwatch Pro 5. My own complain is the GPS is not accurate to run in a city with many tall buildings. Slow to pick up heart rate changes in a run. I hope it gets improved in the newer TWP 5. WearOS 4 is around the corner. If they can update TWP5 to WearOS 4 not too long after Google release it, Mobvoi might be able to gain back their reputation.

Still no wear os 3 on tic watch pro 3 ultra. All of their health sensors have been shown to be very in-accurate. Can't trust this company/watch

All these excellent features 🤔 plus almost 1 week battery life yet Samsung needs to up there game I mention Apple 😂 they far behind even the so called watch ultra you are getting 2 to 3 day max
