If the crustal displacement people are correct and Greenland ends up at the equator, then it would still take centuries to melt all of that Ice.

All I wanted was a look at Greenland. Instead I got a treatise on how Democrat-run cities (in the US), and Ho Chi Minh City would be under water. Isn't man smart enough to plan and build at higher elevations? Oh, if your a fan of globalism you'll be happy to know that many millions of evil, carbon-based life forms will perish. 😅

Its weird to hear the talk about oils and fuels and how beneficial its gonna be at the same time talking about how we are causing the melting of the ice sheet.

All i keeo hearing is how humans are gonna devistate the land and strip it dry and pillage it as soon as they can to continue makibg the mistakes we keep making

So the ice is melting and it's catastrophic, but they found a plane where it crashed 50 years ago under 268 feet of ice. ok.

It's not very far away from the US so it wouldn't be unusual for the US to try to capitalize on this whole situation. We've looked into buying it before.

I think the central valley could probably defend themselves by putting up a large dike at the mouth of the san Joaquin river. They already are using almost all the water in their watershed for agriculture, so pumping water out wouldn't be a problem.

There is literally no chance of any of your catastrophic melting/flooding actually happening, according to the IPCC's own scenarios. The SSP2-4.5 ("no policy change") scenario predicts only ~0.5m of sea level rise. You need to stop fearmongering.

Why does no one seem to know what the westerlies are? No shit the the city on the eastern coast being bombarded by continental air is colder in winter than the one that gets hit by ocean air. This is no better than when my dumbass highschool science teacher said Scandinavia would be as cold as Siberia if not for the Gulf Stream.

Do we import rare earths from China because we don't have them?
No. There are plenty of rare earth elements in the US.
They are difficult and dirty to extract, so it's cheaper to let China do it than do it ourselves and mess up our country.
Rare earth elements aren't actually that rare, they're just "rarely" in places that are easy to mine.

Isnt 'climate change' a theory and in many ways a conspiracy? Climate does shift but where is the solid studies showing fossil fuel? Much of it is alarmist crap left over from 60's misinformed activists. Please go tell China then to turn down the omissions a bit. Just as the 'Recycling Program' is a farce. ~~~Good video. :D

It still amazes me that America had to tell a European country NOT TO SELL CONTRACTS to a tyrannical country like China! Why are Europeans so IGNORANT of dealing with communist tyrants? From Germany to Denmark and other countries…China is in for the long game…are these euros in it for short term gain?

Honestly, (although dane so bias might apply) pretty good run down of the facts :D A bit harsh to call it a colony, as "colony" is usually connotated with exploitation - but then again. The only reason it wasn't was because it's a fcking hunk of ice and we already had Iceland at that point (which is green and has a lot of resources thanks to geothermal activity).
