They cry about 47% inflation but they have enough money to celebrate the killing of my people? I don't understand this logic. Erdogan can say whatever he wants to my government but he can't think about his own people?

It is a really sad thing for us because we planned to stay in Turkey for a long time. But unfortunately after 5 years of trying to survive here with this currency rate we have decided to move on
I will definitely miss this country and I really hope the best for this country and I hope their currency can become strong again

There are solutions to these economic problems that are happening all over the world. If world monetary history was taught in schools and it became well understood around the world as to what money is fundamentally supposed to represent then then demand for fiat paper currency would fall to nothing and the demand for the use of precious metals such as aluminum, copper, titanium, gold, silver, and platinum would sky rocket. Money needs to have a true value to it that is what allows people to trade that value to a matched value of service or products that they want to trade money for. Sense 1971 Bank note currency has been linked to nothing of true value and we have been trading with a FIAT currency sense then. A fiat currency like the US bank note dollar has no set or linked value to it so even though the idea is sound, and will never fix the problem of it not having value. If you want to buy a good or service shouldn't the money you use to purchase these things match the value of that good or service? A silver dollar COIN has value from the metal its made from because the metal itself can be used to construct things like electronics. The same goes with all the precious metals that hold value over long periods of time. This is the reason why precious metals should be used as money and not some fake fiat currency that always leads to the same problems of the people suffering until this is understood then the suffering will not only continue but will constantly get worse and worse....

Actually the title is misleading, you did explain current situation in Turkey, but it is same everywhere - Covid - govt helps pumping more money - inflation is boosted. However Turkey had problems with inflation since before covid, and there is no explanation why and when it stated. You literally can put name of any country instead of Turkey, when you are talking about post covid situation.

Not different than in germany. Here minimum wage is around 1500 after tax.

1 room flat in small towns is around 700€

You gotto pay for government media 57€ per 3 months

Energy around 60€/Month

Internet around 40/month

You end up with 700-800€. Lets say you are member of a fitnessstudio...another 40€/month. You cant hold a vehicle, its maintenance or insurance.

The low wage sector is growing rapidly btw.

Long story short: its just flipping the coin around. The sad thing is: germany is part of the EU with 16 industry nations while turkey stands all alone.

Oh and the mcdonalds meal you just showed is here around 11€
