Have always used a very lightly dampened microfiber to remove, comes off a treat

I think I need to get some GT decon shampoo.
Test idea. Apply 9 LSPs on the bonnet. Wait a month, no washes. Assess water behaviour. Clean with GT decon. Which ones survive? Do any?
Anyway, always enjoy your videos!

Enjoyed that, thank you. I have 3 Soft99 waxes, the Fusso, which i use before winter, mirror shine is great to use for the rest of the year, then there's dark & shine for other peoples cars 😂. All the best 👍.

Another in depth film on Fusso products that I have never tried but a neighbour of mine used it as his wax of choice and was impressed by them. I had purchased the similar Gyeon wax for my mini that I got coated with Mohs as I like to wax but as I sold the car 2 weeks later it sat on the shelf for 2 years unused. I used the Gyeon wax on my sons car recently not coated just well prepared and was really impressed with the ease of use and water beading. I asked my chemist who makes all my waxes if he could make me a Fluorine wax he told me to be very careful with it as it is nasty stuff that he would not touch due to it's carcinogenic properties in the product he would have to use "allegedly" ( I don't want to be subject to legal action). He advised me to wear PPE when using it and only apply in well ventilated area's. On Amazon website under Gyeon wax it lists all the warnings about this wax. I have not been put off but I wax outside and wear gloves always. I would imagine the fusso is the same as it is also South Korean in origin and has the same properties on application and water beading from viewing your application and end result. With regards a damp applicator I have always misted my applicator with QD to soften any hard fibers to alleviate scratches. With regards washing in straight lines it will help clean the microscopic grooves cut in the paint at a molecular level from road detritus caused by driving.

I was up your way at the weekend for the Granite City Rally and took in the Tarland show as well as that was where I grew up. A good day of driving day left at 6 a.m. home by 9 p.m and now I get to wash my car again of the mud from the drive through the forest to the car park.

Hi Specky,a interesting video about the Fusso sealant,to use a damp sponge would probably make it spread better over the paintwork.and the results are amazing, beading is brilliant.

Maybe leaving them for 24hrs after buffing before the torture test so Fusso could bond more with the clear coat would have given better test conditions.

I have the previous dark version on my car and with a topper applied around 6 months back is still, performing great.I love the way that any beads from previous rainfall slide up the bonnet before Glaco kicks them of the glass 😄

with the older version I tended to use a microfiber applicator. Nowt fancy , just the type you used to get in Wilkos etc . Its only of those products everyone should try / have . My old cripe was the gloss levels aren't as high as other waxes they do so many would top with King of Gloss or as I had done Kiwami for that gloss punch . Did wonder and the dark n light versions but your only polishing the clear coat so would anything really effect that in any actual way ? Brilliant as always Specky and you have worked out the podcast and video timings to tally finally too 😊

Great test mate, well done!
I have both of the old versions and can't tell the difference between dark or light 😅
Like you said, less is more and you get a bloody lot of applications per tin!
Highly rate Fusso Coat you can't go wrong 👌
Cheers Stuart

Unsure if you mentioned the smell. I heard they had to remove the naughty chemicals found in the old version, hence the strong smell.thus is why the new version was created. Hang onto an old tin if you have 1!

nice. This is my favourite winter wax due to the durability, and it just about lasts a Scottish winter :) I was going to do a base coat of fusso topped with mirror shine, as I find Fusso can dull the shine one it fully cures. Top Tip, if you dress your plastics and rubber before applying this, it makes it easier to wipe off, if you put any on by mistake, as it can leave a white stain. I've been wondering if its better, or even possible, to apply this by 3 inch machine polisher (wet sponge) to get a thinner layer of product on there? Any thoughts?

I tried the new fusso on my garage queen at the beginning of this year.
I also put fusso 3 month wax over the top the following day, as I have done with the older 12month fusso.
It’s definitely more user friendly than the older product.

I took my car out over the weekend and found after 1 wash it doesn’t stand up as well to the elements as the older 12month does.
Thankfully I still have the older version left.

I tried some of the new black formula today, unfortunately didn’t go smooth. I’m used to applying ceramic coats and pasty waxes but this feels very different. I applied as little as I could each time, shadow area, still ended up with many high spots! Not easy at all

For best results work in a sheltered area, damper the pad and don't use too much polish, plus you must let it cure till the next day before washing,it's a great product, good luck everyone 👍

Fusso dark is starting to fail on my hood after only 3 months. Claim says 12 months. Must be a bad joke. Did decon wash and came back just a little but still getting weak. Hood was polished clayed and prepped before. Weather has been very hot summer heat and maybe 3 inches of rain in 3 months. Washed weekly with ph neutral soap. I have a whole can left and it's going in the trash.
