Echo Show 10 review: Smart displays are on the move

Have you ever seen that board meeting scene from the stallone movie Demolition Man? All the guys were these swivel screen heads and at the head of the table was a screen head.

I still think the facebook portal is better and way cheaper

It is nice if its rechargeable

The echo show 10 looks very impressive with the rotating display and the powerful capabilities with the integrated mediatek chipset.

My Echo Show 10 never quite faces the screen exactly at me when I am sitting am my kitchen counter and talking to it. It is always off by maybe 15 degrees which i find annoying.

I'm confused I thought you could automatically tilt the show, and as far as it following a person around the room, I think it would be a great security feature because often times I am trying to drop in and find my family member. It will start looking around to see where they are based on the voice location.

Pretty pathetic review if you ask me. All I heard you do was trash talk and cry about it, It's too loud, it doesn't do this and doesn't do that and it's slow.

Mine came just a few days ago… I LOVE IT!

I might find that it would be a problem if it can’t tilt upwards at all. You have to be eye level with it at all times and you can’t have it on a coffee table or a short nightstand, without craning your neck down

How come my echo only follows me and not my mom.? Do I need to do something?

I can already see the videos of this thing following around something at 3am in the kitchen / living room 👻 🤣 I’m trying to convince myself I need this. Just want something new I think.

I recently purchased this device from Amazon and immediately had issues with the microphone not able to hear me unless I basically yelled . Contacted Amazon for tech support nobody could help so I asked for a replacement they refused saying I can send it in for repairs but for a fee It’s brand new two weeks old and they will not honor or replace the Devixe . I’ve been with Amazon for years and they have become hardline about any and everything I don’t recommend this product echo dot was fine

I took mine apart and I ripped the motor out of it it would get an update and it would then say it bumped into something and her is nothing mere and I got fed up with it doing that so goodbye motor

Must admit interesting device ,was looking for revew of the 5 and 8 (so can use ring on them) but this 10 unit is interesting but probably outside price I am wanting to pay (ideally £50 but might buy both 5 and 8 anyway)

It would better if echo show could clean the table or work top it's sitting on or had a hoover attached to it

I like the smart Display concept, but a bolder new design is needed.
What I think Amazon Alexa needs is a few people with pitchforks and torches to run 🏃‍♀️ the old Amazon Alexa programmers 👨‍💻 and designers out of town and then bring in some new blood 🩸. If their are some vampires 🧛‍♂️ out there who see the programmers running 🏃‍♂️ down the streets please eat them, bite them what ever you do best. We will have new programmers 👩‍💻 before the sun 🌞 goes down.

Her opinion of it feels biased. From the get-go she’s calling it creepy lol. Like everything these days used facial recognition it’s not creepy it’s actually awesome.

Question can you do Snapchat and play Roblox on it cuz I might be getting one and I just want to know and can you FaceTime message and call people on it and does it ever act strange thank you and have an amazing day

I am not creeped out at all! I love the motion. Got my New Echo show 10 and I absolutely love it. I got the white. It's beautiful. I love everything about this device! Got the deal on Amazon Prime Day. $189 How Cool is that?!

Does anyone know how to allow the microphone on Zoom? I have the app on my echo Show but it won’t let me unmute.

No night vision … that was the last deciding point to hit buy …

Interesting video... but your annoying skinny-jeans-people music and horrible microphone make that difficult.
