In case you are wondering why you don't see my face after the first 30 seconds - the camera died, but acted like it didn't. Front screen stayed on, timer stayed counting. But no footage after I started riding. We worked with what we had but that's why it's a little weird. MF

I really want this for my next bike

At 436lbs, it weighs as much as the much prettier air-cooled 1000cc monsters from the 2000s and makes about 10 more horsepower. The older ones will have more character and be a more special ride overall.

I love that you do bikes too. I know the videos don't do as well as hypercars but damn bikes are cool.

Monster is the only other option once my buell xb dies. But man. I really wish Buell still made this bike. The new ones are too big and my bike sounds like it wants to eat the monster. Still. Only logical option after the xb goes. Super sports on the street look silly to me.

Once I cannot find parts for my Buell xb this looks like the only option for a next bike.

I'm 6'4" and 240 - Always wanted a monster, but really never fit. You say this has more room, will it fit? I don't care if I look like a gorilla.. I do that just fine by myself.. ;-)

It's good for shorter riders, even in stock form. The KTM 890, Street Triple R and RS, and the MT09 have a higher seat. I'm waiting for the XSR900, though.

I hate it.. they ruined the Monster. I don’t care at all what else or extra it does. It looks awful to me. But then again when I laid eyes on that early 90’s monster I knew I’d have one one day. I understand that the old frame was heavier and blah blah blah but I don’t care. They should have just stop making it then to make this piece of shit. I’m buying a street fighter next.

VW has ripped the guts out of everything that made the Monster an icon. For a start it,s dog ugly, the only thing missing is a VW badge on the tank. You hit the nail on the head when you stated you were not a purist. You are obviously not a motorcycle guy that is why you missed the point. Ducati buyers ARE PURISTS and that is why this Monster is dead in the water. Ducati Monster R.I.P. PS: Stick to car reviews.

May I suggest - as this is the first video of yours that I've watched - instead of saying, "I'm a huge guy", actually say how tall you are. In the first 10 seconds of this video I looked at the framing and thought: Either this man is a giant or this bike is tiny. I kept waiting for you to tell me how tall you are. Maybe take out "I'm big" and replace it with "I'm 6"4'" or something.

It doesn't look or sound like an original Monster from what I can tell in this video, but the 18K mile valve service interval alone will get people buying it where they were previously discouraged by the 7.5K intervals. That's huge. If buyers will shop it on its own merits and not in comparison to the originals, I bet it'll be a big seller.

In my opinion, this bike looks like a three-legged dog without an engine spoiler.

The bike is super cool... but a Ducati is not a Ducati any more without the trellis frame, desmodromic engine and dry clutch 😂😂😂😂😂😂

I love that your exploring bikes now for the show. I would highly suggest you check out the Ducati Diavel 1260 S. I believe it would be your personal favorite Ducati and maybe even all around bike for your style and preference.
