I just looked at the date. And now my eyes are tearing. Yes. Jeff Beck. There was him, and there was no one else...I have never in my life heard a Stratocaster sound that good !!!

Ron Wood very nice guy but over the hill. Keith Richards the exact same thing. I used to think Ronnie kept Keith from going off the rails but they’re both pretty shaky now.

Ron sounded a little shaky there! Thank goodness for Derrick! Trucks pretty much saved the benefit from the sings I have seen 😅

Its not about who is the best. Music and guitarists shouldnt be compartmentalised, with labels etc. These guys for sure got together and firstly loved Jeff and all of them shared his passion for music and had so much fun over the years playing beautifully for the public. Thats why most play and enjoy a good jam together in some cases for a sing song after a good night in the pub. I was lucky enough to see jeff on his there and back tour at Hammy Odeon in 1981 i think and Prince amongst others. I believe the great guitarists can play any style and improvise without thinking and Jeff was so uniquely talented that way.

Amazing tribute. Always embarrassed for the people in the audience who could be watching greatness right in front of them but instead are squinting at their stupid phones as they record. Wasted opportunity.
