3 Horrifying TRUE School Lockdown Horror Stories

When I was in high school, we had four separate occasions where we either went into lockdown or had to evacuate the entire building in just two years. I think the lockdowns were just because the police were searching lockers for something illegal (nothing as dramatic as an intruder), but the two evacuations were definitely because of bomb threats. For the first evacuation, they just had us hang out at the football field. Second time, we had to walk a mile down the road to the city garage. Both times, it turned out to be a false alarm.

On the other hand, when some of the older students kept threatening to run me over in the parking lot, school administration completely failed to take any action. In fact, when my mom pulled me out of that school and cited that as the reason why, they pretended it was the first they'd ever heard about it.

I remember my sophomore year of high school I was in P.E and we were doing some sport activity, my teacher played music and I heard our lockdown alarm, I never heard it before, plus it was my first year at the school! I went to another school freshman year and when my teacher heard the alarm he turned the music off and the class followed him to talk with another teacher, then my teacher thought it was a fire drill so we all evacuated to the football field since the aux gym and main gym was closest to there, and a lady said over the intercom “this is a lockdown, this I’d not a drill”, so
We all busted inside and hid in our equipment room

I mean I've never been in a real lockdown but in a drill they needed to make sure the closet door was locked and my whole class including the teachers could here LOUD banging on the closet door and a light from a fashlight outside the door. I know this was a teacher or the principal but every kid was scared, even though we all knew it wasn't a real intruder.

Perfect reason to have at least two police officers on duty at every school, along with a handful of teachers who are trained and with conceal carry. Good guys with guns stop bad guys with guns, end of story

SCARY STORY, THE WIFI WENT OUT IN MY SCHOOL AND PEOPLE THOUGHT THERE WAS A SHOOTER BECAUSE THE WIFI WENT OUT AND I WISH I WAS JOKING BUT I AM NOT.

This happened to me but way worse I was doing math and the teacher give us a head start and 10 minutes later my principal said in a intercom saying “this is not a drill and stay quite” we put all the tables and the chairs to the door but I was right next to the door so I had no problem with that my friends were terrified and I was just chill but also terrified and the next 2 hours the guy that tried to shoot us is a guy named Mateo that was a Mexican boy that had anger issues and last month he escaped from school and never came back but he went to the music teacher and I got my chance to open the window and the class followed me except the teacher and we went fast speed everyone else went to there homes where the school was at and I didn’t care my stuff was there I only care about my safety, I went to my apartment and lock the door and went to my room got my things and went to my parents room and went to there full clothes close the the closet and I didn’t make a sound but there was knocking and when I picked through the little circle thing it was the FBI and I opened the door I told them the information about Mateo they said to get the police car because for backup, and when we get to the school, the police told me to stay here and I done what he said until I heard 3 knocks out the window I hid and got terrified and text my friends, one of the friends said “ I hope this suffer ends” until I realize something back then where I meant Jennifer back in 1st grade she died and her last words said “I hope this suffer ends” people got out of the school screaming for help, and I got out of the car and ran with them, we were the fastest kids so we are pretty gonna run pretty fast and I followed one of my best friends and followed them to there house and we got snacks and blankets and water just in case and the police finally caught Mateo and the school principal told everyone that the students no longer had to go to school because of safer reasons,that was the most scariest time of my life.I hope this suffer ends…soon

4 days ago a kid brought a unloaded gun to school showed it to another student and luckily they told the teacher the kid dint have any ammo no lock down but a email sent out to everyone next day scared everyone had to get a police car outside. This is in 8th grade.

In my opinion a school shooting,a fire drill,and a tornado drill I think tornado drill is the worst because a school shooting and a fire drill can be stopped not a tornado.

as someone who has been in a real lock down with a armed man it was so scary the teacher had to beg for us not to cry she started passing out skittles to keep our minds busy it was scary bc the shooter was banging on the door and we heard yelling and a gunshot and it went completely silent he had been shot and we were fine it was scary
