OK, horror film lovers, this one's a bit low on horror if that's what you're looking for. But enough for me. Creative on the monster types. Lots of big bugs and icky monsters to go around. Big on family drama, although not over-the-top. Doesn't explain the monsters coming and going or why there are so many of them. I suppose that's the science fiction part? Get some popcorn and enjoy!

Difference between blacks and whites in films (no offense). 'We have to find a new car'. Then he proceeds to exit the first car and casually stroll about. Meanwhile, in the space of 5 secs we would have exited the first car, found a new car and be on our way again. No Time for chit chat and making ourselves a target. And.......(1)The male lead is handing out weapons, girl holds basically a dinner knife and butter knife to fight against monsters, and says 'I'm good.' (2) They have left the relatively safe facility which is surrounded by monsters, yet they are able to casually walk outside with no monsters in sight.

Good movie, but I have to wonder why there isn't a full army just camped out at the drill site at all times, and the entire complex rigged with a large scale explosive in case the base is lost.

overall this is a good movie. Anyway, the story writers should discard the dumb teenagers stereotype.

Only a certain number of fish can survive in an aquarium of a certain size.
For that same reason, I don't think that are any underground caverns big enough for millions of winged subterranean creatures, to be flying around in. Especially, if they have an 12ft. Wingspan.
