I sleep for 8 - 10 hours per day and I'm a teen
I still feel sleepy at the daytime and this schedule is really disturbing to my school works and studies :(
And no matter how hard I'm trying, I can't wake up in the morning!!! This really freaking me out!!!
I just dunno what to do !

I have sleep apnea, and without help, I quit breathing while I sleep, every 90 seconds. It blocks REM sleep... before I was diagnosed, I was hallucinating while awake, cognitive function was difficult at best. A machine helps me sleep now, but even that is not enough; at times I average 2 or 3 hours a night... but sleep habits CAN be improved, they help a LOT. As for cognitive function... aerobic exercise is also extremely useful, as is proper meditation techniques. They both can improve the OXYGEN level in your brain and even help with dementia for some people...

REM sleep means rapid eye movement sleep. Its basically you dreaming during sleep, how is it the last stage or it is good?

I've never had a problem with waking up early. In fact most of the time i wake up way too early. I'll literally wake up out of nowhere in between 3am and 6am. 💀 The real problem for me is that i don't feel energized at all after i sleep. Which is why I'm watching this video lol.
