He’s not rotating defenders he’s starting a revolution. And revolutions upset people overall the English who don’t like change. There are some very good players in England at the moment ability wise, the English still lack football intelligence in their game, but the talent is there use it.

Southgate winning the euro in Germany would be the ultimate comeback story after he missed the penalty in euro 96 to Germany

If Southgate is not doing intensive penalty training and practice with the England players, then he needs his head examining. History shows throughout the history of the Euros from 1976 onwards (and World Cups) that teams who progress almost always MUST win a penalty shootout at some stage, if not more than one shoot-out.

If we have so many options for players, I can't see how he can get it wrong...at the end of the day, the players are good enough to win it all. It's going to be down to the system played in the end and getting the players with the right mentality with so little separating their skill level.
