Very cool, watched half so far. Love that you have an ATK 810, those are *great, miss mine. Also *really missing my Ray Classic after seeing/hearing that. I had one in Fiesta Red / Birdseye Maple that I bought from Sterling Ball at NAMM that year, whatever year it was. P.S., fun to listen to these at 1.5 speed!
ОтветитьThat Warmoth P !! ♥️ The best P sounding bass I’ve heard! would you recommend a build from them in general? I’m seriously considering it..
ОтветитьLobster, you never made a dedicated video on the Sterling SB4!! We need it!!! Thank you!!
ОтветитьIt's a pity that you don't know how to play, what a waste
ОтветитьThis baseline is seared into my brain now lol
ОтветитьSell to me the detailer strat base please
ОтветитьI like the Detailer with the three Frailin pickups. I recently thought of a pickup setup something like that. Great stuff! 😎
ОтветитьGreat content! Thank you very much!
ОтветитьWhat a insane collection wow. I really love the sound of that rick 🤤
Ответить300 years ago,
I thought I might get some sleep. I stretched myself out on an antique bed and my spirit did a midnight creep; you know I’ll never sleep no more … I’m about as evil as a boogie bass man can be!
😂😂 did you ever wake up in the morning, with a lobster bass behind your eyes? 😉
Just having fun with ya, man!🥳
Have you tried the Fender American Ultra Precicion Bass? has great EQ preamp.
ОтветитьNice Collection.. Amazing how you make EVERY bass Sound the SAME!!(OK..)🤨🤨
ОтветитьI think my fave is the D. Taylor Strat bass. Looks sick & sounds sick! Plus it’s super versatile and unique. The Warmoth Tele is fantastic, too!
ОтветитьHave you checked out or doing any reviews on these brands. Yamaha, Warwick, sadowsky, sandberg, marluex and tanglewood. Cheers.
ОтветитьHi lobster. Just have a question.
Iam about the buy a ray 35 stingray classic. Are the tuners OK. Or do they strip.also what's a good replacement that's the same but better with same holes . Don't want the neck looking like Swiss cheese LOL
Top 2 - Bongo & Spector
ОтветитьCan you find out if aftermarket p pick ups will fit in a Yamaha bb? Thanks for the vids.
ОтветитьOmg that Sire fretless tone 😱
ОтветитьLoved the video but no Strandberg? Out of 50 basses? Love mine. Try one out.
ОтветитьHey-ho Lobster. What bass in your harem of the low would you say you pick up the most to play day to day on you non-video time? I really enjoy you and your video content. Whoooooo Buddy)))))
ОтветитьSlight variations on a theme
ОтветитьI mailed you a cake with Bully tha Kidd in a bikini waiting to pop out when they sing happy B-day.
ОтветитьFully entertaining. Love this channel. Thank you, Lobster, for not making this an excessive slap style video.
ОтветитьGreat post. Thank you. What a collection 😍
ОтветитьHad no idea you were from Massachusetts! I’ll definitely check out 3rd floor guitars for a custom wiring setup on my Sire V7! Much love!
ОтветитьBongo !!
ОтветитьMan i thought I had a lot with Ten hahaha
ОтветитьALL beautiful basses! Thank you for sharing!
ОтветитьGREAT AWESOME VIDEO !! Nothing like the memories! Betcha there's a story in each bass!
ОтветитьI didn’t know half of these existed
Ответитьthey all sound pretty much the same
ОтветитьFelicidades
ОтветитьMaybe its just me, but all these Bass's sounded good. 50 guitars ? Crazy lol, only 200 more to catch up to the great Geddy Lee. And I felt guilty for having 6 Drum sets smh. As a novice bass player, really enjoyed watching this. You got a subscribe ! :-D
ОтветитьMan, that’d a lot of bass guitars!
You stated a few were your favorites or said some were awesome, and at least one ruled.
However, which are your favorite gigging basses?
You’ve made over 300 by now. Congrats on all of them.
Such much bass goodness!! Awesome video!
ОтветитьDoes every bass not sound exactly the same?
ОтветитьL1000
ОтветитьI love that Rick 4003!!
ОтветитьMy wife would file for divorce if i would spend this much on basses.
Lucky for me tho i am a lefty so i don't really have that much available. I just want 2.
1. A Sandberg California TM4
1. A Schecter SLS Elite 4/Evil Twin
That Ibanez EHB and Rickenbacker were the two that made my eyes light up. Those JB pickups on that Rick, holy cow.
ОтветитьLobster, please make that 3-way Geddy Lee comparison already!
ОтветитьLobster rules! I loved the Jack Cassidy signature the best of all. Instant 60s Brit Invasion vibes.
This video gave me major GAS. I now want to acquire a fretless (with frets drawn...) and a P exclusively for putting on high end flats... Darn!
My favorite fretted is the "Wally" Rickenbacker. My favorite fretless is that Sire... Really sweet for such an affordable bass.
ОтветитьThe Stigray is the best sounding for me!!
ОтветитьThat is just way too many basses for one man. You need to lighten your load and open up some storage space. Let me know when you're ready and I'll send you my address so you can get rid of that FGN double relentless.
ОтветитьLobster, that BFR Fretless bass is a champ.
ОтветитьIf you're a bass player,.....you can never have TOO MANY PROJECT BASSES IN YOUR COLLECTION. That's how I ended up with the twenty-something
basses I own currently. One thing I always do with all my active basses that I haven't played in a long time is that I always remove the preamp batteries before I store the bass in the closet. Otherwise, you'll be replacing 9-volt battery boxes or cleaning up corrosion stains.
