📚🎧 I find it very hard to find books, that I will love. But at the moment I'm binging a series that I found as a teenager. Enjoyed your video, love your style ❤

Also, I have the same notebook. I am a die-hard Archer & Olive fan. 😁

My goal is 45 books. I made my goal 10 more than last year. I love watching BuJo videos. They are so fun! I want to start one…but I’m scared of the commitment. I work full time and it’s hard to have me time. I’m 23 and I work as a CNA and I’m very, very busy. Whether it’s working or sleeping. It’s hard to find time to sit down and read or listen to one, BUT I’m determined to make it to my goal!

📚📚 My reading goal for 2024 is 250 books. I usually read well over 300, but I want to stop using reading as a way to disconnect from the hard things in my life as much as I do, so I reduced my goal and hopefully that will make me slow down and notice the world around me.

I hope this isn't a weird ask but do you have a reading playlist??? What do you listen to while you read? your own thoughts? that would be crazy

I use this app called Smart book that's really great for translating a book from another language paragraph to paragraph if you have the actual book file. It's been a life saver with learning and reading in Spanish for me as someone who does not know enough Spanish for how often she picks up Spanish high fantasy 🙃🙃🙃

Since you can read French, you may be able to find some missing countries translated in French if they aren't available in English.

Coming out of a long-time slump with a lot of brain fog and fatigue, so I'm keeping my goal this year very small-- I want to read 48 books this year. (currently looking for where I put the stencils I need to finish setting up my reading journal, since I have a couple blank spaces set aside...)

My goal is always 50 because I can always hit it. I don’t tolerate pressure well, so I make it easy. I read 118 last year so I feel pretty confident that I’ll read plenty. 😁📚

📚 Two amazing reads this year: He, She, and It by Marge Piercy, a really wonderful character-based scifi released in the 90s, and another 90s book: My Soul to Keep, by Tanannarive Due, which is as excellent as I am used to her writing being! :D

🕯 My 2024 reading goal is 150 books. Two years ago I read over 200 but my life has changed. I'll be very please whether I achieve that goal or not. My biggest goal this year is to get through the Tortall universe by Tamora Pierce. Her Wild Magic books captured my imagination as a young teen and really helped me keep reading through high school, but I've never read all of them in order.

I don't have a specific number of books in mind for the year, but I am committed to tracking how many books I read this year. In years past, I started off tracking but fell off the habit somewhere in March lol. This year I hope to actually track every book so I can get an idea of how much I read!

This is stunningly beautiful 👏👏👏
Do you read in French ?
I am French, my husband is American and I still find it tiring (although enjoyable) to read a whole book in English. We live in France, it'll be my excuse!
I read around 50 books a year, I really wish I had more time...
Once again, congratulations on your set up, it really is amazing.
If you read in French, I recommend you "Veiller sur elle" (Jean-Baptiste Andrea) which is a fresq around sculpture in Italy just before Italy's fascist period, and a beautiful impossible love story between a man coming from a very poor background and a very rich woman. Worth to be read, it is recent as it received the "Prix Goncourt 2023" and I have no idea whether it has been translated, it would sure deserve it.

I love these ideas so much and am so excited that I’ve started reading much more lately. With ADHD, I haven’t read much long form content in a long time but recently I’ve been really inspired and have picked up so many great books. I have read more this year than all of last year combined!! 😮 📚 so excited to continue finding great books. Thank you so much for your recommendations and your spreads. They’re inspiring! I love that you want to read around the world… I’d love recommendations from that challenge specifically if you’re so inclined.

Love the set up! And this journal cover and furr baby are too cute!
;
I hope to read a lot. In 2.5 weeks time I bought 39 books.. (to be fair: a literary fruitbasket of 6 books for my sister who is ill and one study book for my younger brother that he didn't buy as it was not mandatory but really wanted to have).
And I'm in the process of designing a (very expensive) bookcase with an interioir designer.
But I'm afraid that if I pick a number, say 10, I may not even reach that :")

My Husband by Maud Ventura and The Decagon House Murders are my first two five star books of the year! I read My Husband in English but it was originally in French, and the main character is a French/English translator. Relationship suspense. The Decagon House Murders is a Japanese cult classic murder mystery, so works for translated and non western classics goals. Reads like Agatha Christie fan fiction in the BEST most creative way

I'm keeping my reading goal comfortably attainable this year. I met my goal of 50 last year, but when I went through a slump, that number stressed me out and I thought I wasn't gonna make it. I've given myself a goal of 12 and anything extra is a bonus 📚✨

My reading goal is 25 for this year. Hope to make it as I fell 1 book short my objective for the past two years... 🤷‍♀️
