I am thinking of adding the R_Voultion or Zidoo to my theater. What all do I need to rip my physical media? Thanks again for your help.
Ответитьgreat video man, i have the same opinions on Kaleidescape. Zidoo, Rvolution, Plex are just so easy once you get the hang of it.
ОтветитьU can get step lights
ОтветитьLooks great great video . How do u like the onkyo rz50.?..
ОтветитьWast of money
ОтветитьReally nice Home Theater you got and I wish I had the same dedicated space myself 🙂. Some details and experiences that interests me for my own Home Theater journey, would be which difference you saw from painting the walls black? In my view you already had a good compromise in your old setup with the grey walls (a colour I think I could get my wife to accept, but the black would be difficult🙂). Another detail is your screen, if you ever thought of going with an ALR screen to improve the black levels instead of painting the walls black? With the 6050 you would have the power to still provide a good bright HDR picture. I will definetely check out the Audioholics videos you point to on acoustics treatment, but another video you could maybe consider would be how you performed the measurements you show and their interpretation. Maybe this is a bit nerdy to have a broad audience, but would certainly intrest me.
ОтветитьI was very pleased to hear your opinions on Kelidiskape.
Your concepts made financial good sense..
THIS WAS A GOOD VIDEO FOR ME ME 👍
When it becomes more about the channel than the movie, then you know you ×ucked.
ОтветитьYour theater is amazing brother. I love it.
ОтветитьThe big question how much did you spend because is A M A Z I N G
ОтветитьIt is great to see home theater enthusiasts and how proud they are of their space. You have done a wonderful job with your room and I wanted to say congratulations and thanks for sharing! I like how the room is clean and neat with no clutter and that you are able to have 10 full size seats for adults, bravo! Even the temporary kids seats is a good idea. The two chairs and small desk is not for me personally, as it looks like a nice place for kids to do their homework, not to watch a movie, but if it works for you, awesome.
I get your thoughts on wire management. My rack looked like that for years. But when I finally added a third rack and I hired someone to clean up the wires it was so much nicer. I like to have things organized and to show that attention to detail. It just makes me smile!
On a video processor I can’t speak for you as I do not have your Epson projector. But what I can say regarding my Sony VPL-XW7000ES is that out of the box it has a stunning picture until you watched a dark scene in HDR and then it bit. My Lumagen video processor not only saved the day on low light HDR, but enhanced the over all picture in every way.
You mention Kaleidescape. For years I said I don’t need it, and that I can get up and change the disk myself. But once I got K installed it is such a delight! It has to many features for me to list here but I am so glad I have it. If one spends a great amount of time in their HT and is on track with retirement etc, I highly recommend Kaleidescape.
Thanks again for your tour and I hope you get to spend many happy hours enjoying your beautiful room!
Amazing theater good job 👍 I have one question ? what's your Favorite movies on your room ? thank you (French fan)
ОтветитьGet the Samsung 146” Micro LED.
ОтветитьNice setup!
ОтветитьVery beautiful place: congratulations!
ОтветитьAmazing room but IDK if speakers do any justice to your efforts
ОтветитьIt “looks” like the second row could benefit from being a bit higher, or is that just the angle from head on? Also, the Center looks so small in that room (!! 😳🤷♂️), but I’m guessing in that case, Looks Are deceiving. — lastly, in your rec room, what size and brand/type tv is that? Love your setup. Very jealous. lol
ОтветитьYou are living the dream man. Thanks for the video!
ОтветитьVery nice
ОтветитьCongratulations on the dream room. I think the aesthetics and acoustic treatments are well done. Enjoy for as long as you can until the next upgrade. If you get an itch, skip madvr and kscape, save for the Trinnov. The processing alone is worth it
ОтветитьI have a movie server…. It’s me. I walk over to my bluray wall. I retrieve the disc. I walk it to my player and insert the disc. The movie is served.
Nice room. Upgrades are never done. Next thing we’ll be hearing about your new acoustic transparent screen and in walls… your new native 4K laser JVC… your new video processor…
Great room!! Really like what you did with the rack. Well done.
ОтветитьLooks great. What chairs are those and how are the narrower armrests?
Ответитьlooks awesome
ОтветитьWith kaleidoscape you pay for licensing
ОтветитьThat's grey on the walls, it seems to be reflecting at least 5% colour back in thre room, hence grey... Try black 4.0 wall paint at 0.04%, huge difference.
ОтветитьLooks good
ОтветитьImage wise have you considered HD Fury to unlock Dolby Vision and HDR 10+. More affordable. MadVR is more than the projector. Personally the Epson still produces an amazing image. You've created an awesome space to immerse yourself into the movie. Beautiful 👌
ОтветитьDo you like the Emotiva over the buckeye amps? Wondering why you went with the Emotiva over the buckeye for the theater.
I am thinking of selling my xpa5 for the buckeye.
Nice new room, congrats, wonder why you did not go in walls with all speakers!
Man the wire management, 🤭don't need to be perfect - but you can do better than that with some efford!
Again congrats! looks awesome!
Wires are fine. You know where they all go, lol
ОтветитьI built an SFF HTPC with a 3090ti for gaming and then set up my own MadVR. The software is free. You are paying 10k for them to build it with mid-level hardware for you. Buying a MadVR is a HUGE rip-off!
Ответитьin all real movie theaters, the front acoustics are installed behind a sound-transparent screen so that the sound is clearly tied to what is happening on the screen
Ответить🤤 promosm
ОтветитьNot SOTA to each his own.
Be happy. Tacky, let's look at the Audio. ? With
This theater that amp is fine. It doesn't have to be great. Who cares what a jet behind your head sounds like.
Plex for the win!
ОтветитьThis is an awesome home theater, congratulations on reaching your goal and sharing your theater experience with us. To achieve the 11.4.6 you mentioned using a splitter for the surround sound. Is there a possibility for making it 13.4.6 for using 6 side surrounds with the splitter? Also, can you please share the splitter information, a specific video of how you configured it would be highly appreciated for folks who plan on replicating what you did.
ОтветитьSorry, but that’s false advertising. It can only be what your processor can process.
ОтветитьThe perfect sized theatre with pitch black interiors .
Looks great.
Would like to knlw the size of the room...❤
Nice theatre. Totally agree about the diminishing returns with the projector
ОтветитьNicely done. I’m way into 3D , The GreatWall is a real treat in 3D if you haven’t seen it! I don’t even know 10 people.
ОтветитьI still use my Pioneer 301 dvd changer, very convenient, I wonder why no one made a 4K changer.
ОтветитьAdmiro mucho esa pacion por el audio y el video gracias por permitir observarlo '' de haber respuesta favor cuantas bosinas, subwoofer usan ''
ОтветитьIt is one nice looking room, congrats on that and I'm sure it sounds great in there, but if I were you I would have got an acoustically transparent screen and then put the speakers behind it, instead of below. That room is just to nice and too much money to not do it right, especially something like that.
ОтветитьNice room!! I love it 👍
If you’re lucky enough to be able to build your own room, the room is the most important thing for your theater. Build it properly so it’s as soundproofed as possible. I can’t wait for the day I have my own dedicated room that I can crank up and not worry about bothering anyone.
Gear is easy to change. The room… not as easy haha
Great job 👍
