Late to the party, but the alleged ghost ship in the last video, is something indeed off in the distance, but is highly distorted object or objects by rising warm air off of the water surface creating a mirage. This creates a visual affect making the far off distance object appear taller. Mirage can be created on sunny days no matter the season. Meaning cold or hot ambient temperature can create a mirage.

There's been a couple of photographs and videos of a alleged UFOs floating above the surface of Lake Huron. They always end up to being a great lakes freighter carrying either coal or Iron ore visually distorted by mirage. Lake Huron is part of the normal traffic route for these cargo ships.
