Samson vs Excalibur dehydrators

Samson. Very quiet. $270 glass door 6 tray
also cheaper 9tray $129 plastic door.
But timer only 26 HOURS MAX.

I have a dehydrator, but it's a sad cheap little thing. I'm working towards one of these. I will get one eventually...soon. Mine is noisy. It sounds like a dishwasher.

I wonder if the Samson uses the same manufacturer as Cosori. Both of them look alike, but the cosori has less trays and is cheaper. The Corsori is quiet like the Samson. I opted for the Cosori because it was cheaper. Great video thanks for posting.

Here's my question Markus rothkranz raw food people are always using the dehydrator you should do a video on how much money it cost to run a dehydrator for a month I'm sure it's very expensive

I am really puzzled why some of them are so ridiculously expensive. Isn't it a very basic kind of cabinet with a fan in it? Hardly rocket science.

I AM ORDERING THE SAMSUNG 9 TRAY NEXT MONTH AND JUST CANT WAIT. I STARE AT MY AMAZON CART DAYDREAMING ABOUT THE DAY I CAN PRESS THE BUY BUTTON. IM LOOKING FORWARD TO EGG PLANT JERKY THE MOST. PS. IF YOU ARE DISABLED AND OR LOW INCOME AND USE FOOD BANKS THEN I DEHYDRATOR CAN BE A LIFE CHANGER WE ALL KNOW FOOD BANKS GIVE OUT TONS OF CANNED GOOD THAT TAKE UP SO MUCH SPACE, WITH A DEHYDRATOR YOU CAN DEHYDRATE THOSE VEGGIES AND SAUCES, THEY WILL LAST FOR YEARS IF STORED PROPERLY AND WON'T TAKE UP NO SPACE. JUST SAYING IT IS A GOOD INVESTIMENT FOR ANYONE NO MATTER YOUR INCOME LEVEL.

Just a quick comment ... I recently bought a dehydrator... Magic Mill. So this is what I noticed while shopping.... ALL of the dehydrators, no matter what name was on them, were manufactured by the same place. These companies, like Excalibur, etc... buy it from the manufacturer and just stick their brand name on it.... all the details of the boxes were the same, (IDENTICAL), and all the specs were exactly the same, down to the wattage, and the style of the trays.... but the prices varied based on the brand name. So.... about the Samsung... I never saw that one... That's the ONLY one that I might expect to be actually made by that company.

I thought plastic wasn’t good for u. And the Excalibur is all plastic so how is that good to dehydrate on?

My Sampson stopped working & lasted about 5yr.

Why would you use plastic? It heats up… would that expose bpa’s to you food?
