Owning A Mercedes-AMG E63 S - 1000 Mile Honest Review

I stopped watching after you decided not to put the right fuel in the car... its on a sticker on the fuel door, and you wanted to save 5quid.. on a 100,000 quid car... unreal.

Mercedes has said the V8 will be back, so the 2.0 inline 4, in the 63s will be an option. Unfortunately a new E63 is 290.000£ (not counting options!) where I live. A Tesla Plaid is a bargain at 140.000£

I'm complaining about the Regular petrol you put in. It is not for performance. It combusts at a different temperture and pressure than higher octane. If your engline is not designed to take lower octane than can cause pinging noise in engine because it combusts before the stroke is complete. I would not suggest doing that. Read your manual. could void warrenty on certain engine parts.

Bro, You’re deluded if you think making your car stage 2 tune is gonna also make it more fuel efficient. I’ve got a BMW M5 and it’s got a tune of about 800hp and the fuel efficiency definitely DIDN’T get better with it

Great video, but should have put Premium fuel in. If you think regular was good on fuel economy, Premium would have been even better!

Why on earth would you want to track a big fat huge estate car (unless it was a trip to the Ring or similar) ?

The MB E63S has cylinder-deactivation, if the power is not needed, the engine runs automatically on 4 cylider. A indicator in the dashboard shows than a 4. The system is pretty developed, the driver does not notice the cylinder activation/deactivation. This provides a modest fuel consumption for a V8.

Probably a Pinz Gauer (the truck).

You can bet your bottom dollar on it, it is the last great V8 AMG engine. And the last to sound that good.

I always say to people that my E class 2018 does 70mpg, they laugh and it’s true that the Mercedes’ cars obviously are best or nothing but people don’t give credit enough and they are still underrated. No any car in the world can compete without Mercedes’ even the lowest model !!!!❤❤❤
