This not a protected "file" - it is protected sheets and/or workbooks. You cannot Open a Password protected file without the password...

After changing the extension to zip, when I try to open it, it gives me an Invalid error or the compressed folder is empty if I try to extract it. anyone had this problem or know what might be wrong?
