Great video. I learned that I need to be more patient while fishing. The number of casts and reallocating frequently is key. I guess I have it imprinted on my brain that a it should be like Bob Izumi and one should haul buckets of fish out of the lake with ease.. I'd give up too early thinking the lake is overfished or I suck at fishing. 😂 Thanks for the dose of reality. Keep up the great content. Cheers from Toronto.

Well, that was very strong of you to be out there for so long without food in sub zero temperatures. I have never been camping. That boot drying trick was good and you were pretty lucky to catch that Brook Trout. I would probably have held on to the insides of the fish to use as bait for my next meal, might have caught fish sooner. Too bad about your rod breaking but it still worked ok.

dude, if you took the time to catch that fish, take the time to cook it well. its about respecting the fish. watching you eat charcoal fish was just a step too far, it doesnt make you cool for anybody who has been in the forest. Also, you woke boys use terms like "harvest" because its a dystopian 1984 world we live in, but just ... if you kill a fish, treat it with respect. It was a living thing. You didnt harvest it. You harvest a crop you planted. You caught a fish, killed it, gutted it badly and ate it badly cooked.

I read a book of fishes and some lakes in my local are very big so people would need to go with a canoe out to actually catch big enough sized fish
