My car🥳
Ответитьmake a good campervan conversion, campervanco do some decent conversions
ОтветитьBro a propa honest review,,Stay humble and stay blessed!!!
ОтветитьToyota Alphard/Toyota Vellfire/Lexus LM and Nissan Elgrand are very common around Asia including in Indonesia
Toyota Indonesia Manufacturing is since 1970s
Asian luxury of Rolls Royce with better budget and reliability
We are looking to trade-in a S class Mercedes for an Alphard 3.5 V6 in a few months time. The ride in an Alphard is actually superior to the S class (air suspension) and the gear change is noticeably smoother, the only thing we will miss is the distronic cruise control.
ОтветитьElegant never heard a people discribed that way but these are very nice we hwve them in Australia and l have seen a couple of them haven't seen the elusive Toyota Century yet and these range in price from aud $20000 for the older ones up to aud$70000 for the newer ones these must be the best people movers ever made
ОтветитьI’d love one of these😍. Unrivalled reliability too.
ОтветитьLove this review you’ve got me sold. I’m bored of German badges and chasing performance. I love unusual luxury and practicality 👍
ОтветитьHere's a small request for future videos. Could you put the make, model and year of the car in the description. Some videos seem to have that but many do not so if it's not too much trouble, that would be a quick and easy way to see what the car is and which model year. Thank you.
ОтветитьPut a 1200 HP 1 JZ in it! HAHAHAHA!!!!!
ОтветитьThere was also a Japanese craze for american minivans. Like a 1996 Chevrolet Astro high top Tiara Annivesary edition. It stands out from the crowd of suvs and other minivans for a fraction of the price.
ОтветитьSo what is the alphard/vellfire suited for?
-family
-stag/hen night
-gov entourage
-wedding carriage
-mobile business lounge
-posh weekend rental
-outdoorsy types (really, especially older ones where couldnt give a toss about the interior)
Thats why this thing is VERY popular in asia pacific and SEA. It essentially does everything. And also singlehandedly made German limos (or any executive vehicles) an endangered species in those regions.
A luxury minivan would never do good in North America. That's why it doesn't exist in america
ОтветитьThe escalade of Asia.
Ответитьwhy is insurance so expensive in the UK?
ОтветитьThis thing would've worked well in South Africa if only Toyota sold better cars here. Hyundai's selling the new Staria, but I honestly think Toyota should've marketed the Alphard here years before the Staria.
ОтветитьThe Alphard is a modern version of the Toyota Granvia/Grand Hiace (1995~2002). I've got a 1999 Grand Hiace and they were already built to be this luxurious/comfortable minivan.
Ответить🧡💛❤🧡❤🧡❤💛❤
ОтветитьI have one converted as a campervan. Absolutely love it, so nice to drive I choose to use it as my daily drive and with a regular service will last forever.
ОтветитьThis must be the most annoying commentary I have ever heard, WHY SPEAK LIKE THAT, Just be natural man
Ответитьsounds like AL Fart
ОтветитьLexus have their version, it’s $170k …….
ОтветитьA restroom on wheels.
ОтветитьWith the styling of a box...
ОтветитьIt looks like an iron, no personality 😂😂😂
ОтветитьI've owned an 8 seater 2.4L for nearly 2 years and has been a godsend, especially with a 3rd child arriving unexpectedly and this vehicle rose to the challenge with ease.
ОтветитьI wish North America had true minivans. My parents still love their 1998 Sienna.
I recently found out that Toyota still makes the Previa. I was never a fan of the first gen Previa which we had in North America. But looking at the later models, they have the feel of what the Sienna should actually be. Not some big fat van with just okay amounts of cargo space, but an actual minivan. The current Sienna just feels and the interior looks like an SUV that is trying to pretend to be a van. Doesn't have the practicality of a van either at least not compared to older vans. At least allow for all the rear seats to be removed instead of only allowing tumble.
At one point the Alphard-based Lexus LM became such a status symbol in mainland China and combined with its rarity, made it the most expensive car Lexus ever sold. Yes, that includes the LFA.
The first model year LM300h can cost up to RMB 4 million (US$580k) because of the crazy demand. That's over 50% more expensive than the LFA when it was new. Supply catched up but the MSRP is still a crazy RMB 1.5 million (US$175k) so it's still the most expensive car in the entire Lexus lineup, overshadowing the LS, LC, and LX.
The Alphard (and the smaller engine Vellfire) is a hit in Malaysia too.
ОтветитьMinivans are basically the most under rated category of vehicle. Practical, comfortable, easy to drive and live with. They do everything that most SUV owners do, but they do it better than an SUV and at lower cost. But they look a lot less fashionable ( they were big around 20 years ago, though!).
Most people who jump in a Zafira or gran voyager will get out grudgingly liking it. People who buy them often find they become a reliable, trusted family friend.
Sports cars are almost the opposite, impractical, uncomfortable, often actually slower due to a low eye level and harsh, jumpy suspension. People often buy their dream sports car in August and sell in October when they find out what a literal and figurative pain in the backside it is. But they do look cool. And you sometimes feel like a million dollars in one.
That's not a car. It's a small airliner with wheels.
ОтветитьIt feels funny to see Alpfard on the British road. Here in Japan Alphards/Vellfires are known as permanent residents on the overtaking lanes, tailgating whatever objects moving in front of them. These hedious metal loafs are the dream car of many Japanese chavs and the favourite of the politicians and yakuzas. Weekend highways are filled with financed Al/Vels driven by people you wouldn't want to mingle with. What an eye sore.
ОтветитьI saw this car every week because alphard is very popular in cambodia, some taxi driver have a 2020 alpard v6 too
ОтветитьI started out on Morris Minors. Bought a Toyota iQ as a proper modern runaround. After a year of deliveries I bought a Toyota Hiace Super Custom with red velour interior! I got lucky and found a full set of practically unused lace seat covers to put on it.
ОтветитьThis car was a very popular grey import in Indonesia until it was finally sold officially in 2008. This car is very good they made a Lexus version based on the 3rd gen
ОтветитьCommon here in NZ. We get loads of 2nd hand JDM models.
ОтветитьBrother your videos have a very nice touch to it almost feels like watching 90's top gear shows love your videos
ОтветитьCan you fit a dab radio in ?
ОтветитьHello from New York
ОтветитьThis car is basically every business man car / government officials car in Indonesia, they are very popular because they are cheap to maintain for a premium luxurious car, it's a Toyota's car after all
ОтветитьIn real life, these look like they are from the year 2092. The premium interiors are modeled on first-class airline cabins. Wonderful minivans.
ОтветитьHow are these not sold in North America???
ОтветитьWhile Japan is actually a “Western country”.
Ответитьits just a pity for such a young guy to drive a soccer-mom minivan.
ОтветитьI wish these and other luyuxry vans were more popular in Europe.
SUVs are mostly useless obnoxious vehicles. I want to be able to cram kids and luggage in a luxurious van that is safe, reliable and drives well. I want to be able to take a nap in a fully reclined back seat. I want leather, massaging seats and still be able to move bikes and luggage around.
If you take off the headrest.. you can make a bed..
ОтветитьSick computer. Any specs you would like to share?
ОтветитьIn Hong Kong they are pretty much the default vehicle for chauffeuring business executives, government officials and celebrities; with many of them also being deployed for cross-border limousine service to mainland China. I rode in one back in Hong Kong, and it’s pretty much a Learjet on wheels.
ОтветитьSo coincidental to be recommended this video after Gran Turismo 7 just released the ALPHARD as a playable car lol
Ответить
