I feel like the team has scenes like this for all the others, they just are trying too keep any ship trends from heppening + mario has a very brother and sister-ish bond with meggy bc they have known each other for so long and are best friends

personally i just find these wholesome, but i can see why they'd be a bit sus to some, but to me eh nah, i don't ship these two, but i do see them are either extremely close friends, or basically siblings with how strong there bond is, heck these two positively influence eachother in ways only friends can, like meggy joining in on Mario's shenanigans, and mario at times actually being extremely competent, or being rather smart, like in that elevator video where smg3 and 4 got stuck in an elevator

That deleted scene was beautiful. I don’t ship them, I just think it was a wholesome little moment. And even if the scene got into the episode, it was a part of the Mario Does Things/SMG4 Crew series, meaning it wasn’t canon either way.

These kinda feel like deleted scenes. They were pretty good

I dont think the SMG4 crew are against this, I just think they’re trying to stay out of it. They deleted some donos and scenes since that would bring it up of which they don’t want to answer. If you look at Meggy and Wolfy’s stream where they search up Meggy related questions, Luke “conveniently” comes in when Meggy’s love interest is brought up to stop them from answering it.

I don’t know if they’re against it or not, but since it divides the fanbase it would make sense they would stay out of it to not cause drama which I can respect. So for now, we got this wholesome middle ground. They may have been worried that these scenes would tip it too far one way, even though I do love them

basicamente MediExcalibur2012 dice que meggy era uno de los personajes mas odiados, al parecer nunca se imagino que emparejar a mario y meggy primero como amistad o compañeros de apoyo funcionaria hasta que se creo la comunidad del shipeo eso fue lo que apoyo aun amas la serie, sinceramente he seguido a smg4 desde el video de Retrasado64: Mario Kart Estupido y la verdad cuando introdujeron a meggy si era raro pero me da risa que en realidad la culpa la tiene smg4 por emparejarlos primero, la verdad mario nunca tuvo una charla seria y motivadora, solo con meggy desde ahi yo pienso que empezo el shippeo, no me molesta el shippeo pero hasta me molesta que cuando la gente dona a smg4 y preguntan de esto ellos lo borran y he sido testigo de eso, pero la verdad el shippeo es valido ya que tiene tiempo eso y se desarrollo con naturalidad y no forzado, algo me dice que smg4 recurira a esto cuando se baje su popularidad, que siendo honesto varios videos ya no tienen una historia que te atrape como lo fue la saga de la primera pelicula

People say it’s a sibling relationship, respectfully I must disagree; they never came off to me as siblings until the Bunker video and that QNA and whenever I did see them as siblings I hated it, them fighting and being rivals doesn’t vibe any me nor the majority and made their friendship feel inconsistent (especially with this happening legit right after Meggy got out of vacation, which happened because one of her insecurities was how she treat her friends… starting to see what I mean?)

You know what, screw it, @MediExcalibur2012 should be the main Mario & Meggy video editor. Ship them or not he definitely knows what he’s doing and how to write these characters in a way that works. I just hope SMG4 doesn’t care more about putting down the ship than good writing (which wouldn’t work anyways since Mario x Meggy survived 2021-early 2022 without much)
