Watched this movie on a plane on my very first flight to the US from Europe, I was 24. The film was shown on the big screen for everyone to watch and you could listen using your headphones or you could ignore it and just sleep. It was at night and at the end of the movie nobody was sleeping and I swear there was not a single person in the cabin who wasn’t crying. Surreal. An old man told us he used to know him and he was crying so much

This movie and 42 are must own films of black history moments in sports. I’m from the Mountains of Caucas, and they still touch my soul.

What a movie! I loved it! I looked up the main actor and it just so happens that I am watching Blindspot and there he is!

The Express is a splendid movie of inspiration, talent and courage. It is truly shocking what treatment and discrimination Ernie Davis and his black teammates had to endure. We should all be ashamed. As Ernie said - it doesn’t matter what label in on the bottle, it’s still a bottle.

I don’t recall seeing in the credits that Ernie Davis died of leukemia at age 23 before he could ever play a professional game. And he was a real person.

Let me question something do you know where you will go after you die? If not let me say you can have a choice to either go to hell or heaven see 2000 years ago there was this man named Jesus who died on the cross for our sins and rose alive 3 days later all because he truly loved us he died for us so I question you now do you truly believe in Jesus or do you live for the world turn to Jesus Christ trust in him Christ has way much more to give than the world he loves us turn to Christ

This is a great movie! Also, I just realized that the guy who plays the assistant coach in this movie is the voice actor of Mr. Krabs.

in this movie is when the players are going to stay in a hotel and they don't let black people in and then everyone decides to go away?

WTF!!!! Why have i never heard of this movie!!! I thought i've watched all the historic sports movies or similar to it a thousand times over and yet theres still more i havent seen??? Come on man ...
