Not anymore. Now we know from the ruin dlc that monty attacked him in the back of the bonnie bowl area by ripping out his chest and crushing his skull with a bowling ball. Dawkins posed an interesting theory that bonnie was watching Gregory through the eyes of the cleanerbots the whole time trying to alert someone given the fact that deactivating each and every one allows access to this. With RUIN out, here is my theory of what happened to bonnie.

As seen in the ride in the monty golf section of RUIN, it was originally Glamrock Freddy, Chica, Bonnie, and Roxanne Wolf, with Monty as a secondary animatronic with his own area, with Bonnie being the one Monty looked up to. Eventually, Bonnie got infected with the Glitchtrap virus, and Monty noticed, and unfortunately, had to decommission his hero. In RUIN, you can find Bonnie in a secret room in Bonnie Bowl, with scratch marks that look like their from monty. And took the mantle of the main bass player, from the his hero that he himself tore apart.

Well now we know what happened to bonnie. But we don't know who killed him.

This was a REALLY well put together theory video. And especially after coming back from Ruin, bro... you're amazing. I REALLY think you're on the right track, if not right on top of it. It makes so much sense. The question, or at least one of them, is if Bonnie was infected first, did Monty try to "save him" by destroying him? Or potentially, did Bonnie "come back" as M.X.E.S. himself, as a sort of anti-virus software. His eyes are still on, so that's what is making me question that. It would again, make sense.

Fun Fact: people who say they look like they have aged for several years but it has made a few hours its because they dont know the lore or the glitchtrap virud

The tape talking about someone hacking the system is not Vanny/Vanessa, it's Gregory because as mentioned in the books Gregory is pretty much a master hacker!

There is an ending where you pick up the blob puppet mask and then you find the ending confirming that vanny made monty kill bonnie

Now that the dlc is out, it does have proof that it was monty who caused bonnie to have gone commissioned. However, remember how Montgomery has the vanny virus alongside the others? I suspect, mat pats theory may be partially true alongside side this video. I don’t know how, but it’s a suspicion.

Think about it. Yes, we saw Montgomery and his violent angry personality, but that’s when he was corrupted, I know we saw a golfing scene of freddy in a trash can, but that was either jealousy, or something of the sort.

Burntrap is springtrap because of the line I always come back so that could be one of your theorys

I truly believe this lead to Bonnie’s unfortunate death. Glitchtrap controlled both him and Monty and had Monty kill him. I believe Glitchtrap needed a fall guy (Monty) so the staff wouldn’t suspect he/the virus as being the culprit (as it would more so ruin his whole plan and end up being ultimately destroyed by the staff). The staff stumbled upon his body and make Monty the new star. They do damage control of artwork and whatnot of Bonnie giving control (him handing his guitar over) to him as to trick the audience and public. Although I do find it strange though that if the staff found him, why leave him behind Bonnie Bowl boarded up the way he died? Or perhaps the staff never found him and Glitchtrap threw out a previous Bonnie endoskelleton to throw the staff of his trail and he or Vanny sealed Bonnie in his tomb ( the place he died, the area behind Bonnie Bowl) hoping nobody would ever find him.
Everyone is so quick to blame Monty for being jealous. While everyone has to keep in mind that the series always leaves breadcrumbs/clues (or at least that’s Steel Wool’s method since they’ve taken over the series, plus they get approval from Scott before they complete a game). And that Security Breach came out BEFORE Ruin! This we had no clue of his death and supposedly by Monty til shortly after Ruin came out and players hacked into that area of the game/his tomb (which apparently had a technical glitch which the to Steel Wool giving players access to hack that area) to discover Bonnie’s corpse.

We got Freddy,chica,Roxana wolf but Bonnie got replaced by a gator

So if Monty the alligator form of bonny then Roxy is the wolf form of foxy

I feel like bonnie got absolutely murdered by scott because he was his favorite and wanted to give him a more in depth backstory or its pure revenge for giving him nightmares and traumatizing him.(Late ass comment considering this was a year ago and SbR came out alr but stfu🤑)

It was Monty who killed him because there’s a secret in ruin in the bowling ally that you can actually find Bonnie all torn up with claw marks,and who’s the one who had claws? Monty.monty killed him as a malfunction or blind rage and that explains it
