How to Set Up Elgato Capture Cards with OBS Studio

You suck!

Only issue I got is I don’t have the option to select elgato in my OBS. Have legato software installed etc.

Know the card works as have had it working via the elgato software. But OBS isn’t picking anything up.

Hey, how did you get that menu to pop up for your capture card? I keep getting a white window with black text telling me my device info, nothing Elgato related, though.

When I click Configure Video a different window pops up. Doesn't look anything like what you've shown.

Do you have to have elgato open and obs while streaming to twitch from elgato and does that mean obs will fix the elgato if you have adjusted bitrate on obs ?

Hello! When I follow this video, I can hear the audio in my headphones, but the audio mixer thing that was added along with it doesn't move, despite being set to full volume. I've played around with the settings, but it doesn't want to work. What settings are recommended to get it to be able to be captured?

Edit: When I use "capture audio only" the mixer moves, but I can't hear anything. Any other setting, I can hear, but OBS can't.

How do I make the elgato just take up the whole screen by itself instead of me moving it in there ?

I downloaded everything needed and the OBS doesn't show my capture card. I have Uninstaller it and restarted my comouter and it'd the only thing open on the computer and still isn't showing up. What do I do?

despite I cannot get the elgato software to display signal for the life of me, I was able to detect the capture card via Streamlabs OBS, so now I guess I wait on the cables to pray that it actually works when I attempt to setup my 2 pc stream. Long story was that I bought this capture card 3 years ago thinking I would try streaming console gameplay, but then ended up not console gaming and was without a 2nd machine to use for this. So now I am in a situation where I have a fresh 3 year old card that may or may not work... Several issues regarding signal that have various troubleshooting methods to resolve - bios, device manager, firmware, drivers, power settings, boot settings etc. I just really hope I am not SOL...

Now hold up a moment jeff. On my TV i'm getting a warning telling me that there's a resolution mismatch with the Elgato HD60 S. How can that be with my switch?
