Great information! I start my Counseling Medicine in Clinical Mental Health on Jan 13th. I've been reading my Psychopathology, which covers many disorders. They are uncommon and can be considered niche disorders, and I agree!

Great information. I agree with you 100% . Paying your dues isn't always beneficial for you. Choosing who you serve is actually a benefit to your clients.

I have a question I'm not sure if it's related to this topic but since I'm studying at college I wanted to go to my social worker in high school were I graduated and ask the social worker if she could let me spend a day and see what she does as a social worker to see if that's something I'd like to do the Principal of the school let me but he forwards me to speak to the social worker she hasn't responded to my email I'm thinking she can't let me watch what she does as a social worker since all the students need to be protected and not exploit their information and I'm not sure if she is hired by the agency or by the school Can someone explain? 😏
