Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Remake vs Original Cutscenes Early Graphics Comparison

Final fantasy 7 original was a tragical story, from beginning to the end, but also had love, hope and much fun. The remake somehow lost the tragical element, and was more about fun and action. As much as the tragedy made me sad, I miss it in this remake.
And also FF7 original had a lot of mystery, as for example, Sephiroth was mentioned from the beginning but only appeared later in the game. In this remake, he showed up early in the game. He should be a mysterious character and not so much evident like in the remake.

In the original the chocobo ranch part was a quick in and out. 5mins max. Now they turn that into a 2-3 hour.

Is it just me, or do the scenes we have with Aerith in the original, for Rebirth not focus on her?

Square is ruining this game by adding so many unnecessary thing and making every character sound like a Disney character.

This franchise has lost its identity years ago. I'm done with Final Fantasy.

Eu lembro que eu matava aula pra jogar final Fantasy 7, hoje, depois de formado em engenharia eu escondi meu ps4 na gaveta para não atrapalhar meus estudos para concurso.

It's weird how in the original Elena turns to the player when she talks to herself but in Rebirth she's practically talking to the player the whole time. The original feels more like a stage play.

I hope they don't change Aeris' death, that's gonna be epic.

I remember back when the PlayStation 1 came out and people were super super fascinated with the graphics and features of the original Final Fantasy 7. People couldn't believe their eyes back then and that was what made people want to buy the original PlayStation. Nobody would have ever imagined that the game that they were fascinated with back then, would be taken to an even greater level that's 20 times greater than what was seen back then!

Really wish the remake was still turn based

I take issue with the remake in a sense that it reminds me of dragon age but wores..

In Dragon age at least I could set scenarios and change the ai behaviour ina fight

Constantly have to switch characters or stop the flow of the fight just to get an the ai to use an ability every few seconds is actualy really fucking annoying 😒

Ur on low health wait let me stop ✋️ 🫸 the fight switch to someone else heal me switch back

Or go into the menu got to cure go along to curaga heal then attack again

It's not the right way of doing it and feel it's not fluent

Healing is the obvious pain in the ars when ur healer is standing there and dosnt automatically heal the party

But what's even wores is its every single fucking ability across the party

They will do absolutely jack shit unless u make them doit

It's turn based mechanics but on the fly it really dosnt fucking work imo tales series.. should of took inspiration from that

Or leave it the fuck alone and keep it turn based

I hope people remember that the original's blocky characters was a conscious art decision, not simply ancient graphics. In FF8 they went with realistic looking characters, similar to these remakes
