Would you recommended getting one with 65k Km for 25,000 AED or one with 250k Km for 15,000 AED

Thanks so much I appreciate this video I've been looking for a benz to buy and fell in love with the cls500. The ones that I like more and happen to fit into my budget are the 06 and 07s. Because of the car being so old I'm scared to buy it. So I did some research to find out the cls is more reliable than alot of the benz classes and not as expensive for maintenance because of that. And also pack more HP where I stay people drive very aggressive so it's needed. I will definitely use this as my strategy when I go inspect and test. The one I'm looking at currently is an 06 Silver/Black Cls500 with 74k miles and it had some maintenance issues thats been fixed

Really this could be any car on the market.

It's still a great looking car and powerfu for unde 10K. It's great summer car, definitely not a daily, a V8 engine in 2022? Its something you wanna keep clean polished and left in a garage in winter. I like mines modified tho, some aftermarket parts to give it a little facelift

I own this 2008 cls550. Its a piece of SHHHHHH@#$%@# TTTTT Only 125K miles and everything has gone wrong.,. electrocins, AC, the air suspension, trunk failure, key fob system failure, battery needed replacement so many times.. this car is a QUALITY and DESIGN failure. I will never buy another Mercedes Benz again. Don't buy this car or any Mercedes period unless you want 10s of thousands in repair costs. I have a toyota and honda from the same years and they gave had zero problems over their life. The Mercedes has a new problem EVERY YEAR and its SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXPENSIVE and complicated to fix. Its unimagineable how such an expensive car can have such poor design. F&*K Mercedes Benz

I have one and it’s a great car if u are thinking of buying I recommend 100% fast and comfortable, and if u really want the fancy apple play u can add it on the care is made so ahead of its time

I have a 2006 cls500 while driving the power steering started to not work, then the message board showed, in red, a battery. Message stated; go to workshop. The temperature light went on and temperature raised rapidly. I parked the car for an hour then started to drive home. I had no power steering, and the battery showed on message board saying check battery/alternator. Check engine light was on too. About 10 minutes from home the temperature went up, again rapidly. Brakes started failing and I could not accelerate. I made it 1/2 way in the driveway. Any suggestions? Also is one of the pulleys ( round wheel that the belt goes around) suppose to be loose?

Just bought 2009 CLS 320 CDI, airmatics, 19inch AMG alloys, remapped to stage 1 giving 260bhp, only 64k miles. Real fast acceleration for me. Mpg about 30 town and motorway so far... Not the best.

I've heard that the 5 speed transmission is the preferable one (722.6), since it's the best what Mercedes ever had.

Bought one about 2 years ago (280 petrol)... This car is magic. Switched twice since. Audis (A6 and Q3) but this car got my heart. Looking forward to get it back. I might go for a 2010 350 grand édition if I find something Interesting on the market

Just change the timing belt, if you’re not sure it has being done, these cars can do massive miles, without ever going seriously wrong, preventative maintenance is the key to longevity.

the car is now 35,000 km long.
it was stopped for more than 1 year, without starting the engine.
currently, when turning it on the car releases from the exhaust, a white smoke, thick and in a flash of some hiccups.

It's a C219, not a W219. Mercedes uses W for wagons (sedans), S for station wagons, C for coupes, A for Cabrios and so on

Don’t. I had 2. Cls55 and cls63 just don’t. They are nice cars don’t get me wrong but holy shit they have so much problems.

I owned a 2006 and a 2010 and now just sold my 2012 and bought a 2014 CLS.
Would have bought a 2016 but can't get by that GPS screen sitting on the dash. Gotta wait a couple of years for a 2019.
Boy do I miss the lines on the 2006 & 2010.
Please MB bring that design back asap !

My esp is off but I find it fun going sideways all the time 😂 2007 320 diesel, great car and loads of power once remapped.

Owner of one for 7 years and loved it until last week when the timing chain mechanism failed and now looking at a £2500-3000 bill at less than 100000 miles and very well looked after !
