can 125c cgy6 fit in a place where the 50cc gy6 engine was, without any welding or cutting

I have a gy6 type A with a short case. Engine# 1p57f. I’m looking for a drop in kit for the top end. Don’t really need more horsepower. Just want to make sure I order the right parts. It has the 54mm stud spacing. The rings are shot! Just trying to get it back up and going again for the kids. What top end kit would you recommend without boring the crankcase? Any help would be much appreciated.

Boy those stud holes on the competitors cylinder were almost eroding into the cylinder....

Is the bolt pattern on a Honda 100cc four stroke scooter and the GY6, same? The bore x stroke on a Honda is a 47 x 63 mm.

Umm ceramic coating keeps heat in. That’s why pipes are ceramic coated. Why would you want to keep heat in an air cooled cylinder head!

Do i need to change cdi if i upgrade to bigborekit?

I have noticed that some cylinders have the cooling fins at a different angle, why? And is one of them better?

I want to keep my 125cc volume, is there options for the GY6 to add more power to it before adding a turbo?

600 for all that personally I would rather spend 300 or more less and do it all myself you should drop prices and have more clients almost guarantee it I seen the prices and didn’t even read about it just backed out instantly

The ProBld cylinder looks to have more fin area, also.

What is the difference in longevity between the forged and cast pistons?

I have a Chinese adult scooter that I bought two years ago it's called a capri or Saber 200cc EFI. Can you tell me what size of rear clutch pulley I should order? And it's a long case.

Automatically have oil pressure on cold start. Is that normal? I changed the oil and cleaned the screen and installed properly. ( Noticed that the exhaust out of the muffler is forceful and smells like very clean burn. Also it's cool exhaust air while idling.

I have a Tao Tao 150cc. Runs fine until I hold it at 45-50mph for a few seconds then it acts like I'm not enough, or too much gas. I'll have to slow down for a mile or so to allow it to run normal

Technically, you only need to Gap 2 of the rings, not 5. I'll also say that we have never had any issues with CP forged pistons in long run. Who's manufacturing your pistons spec? They also use 2618 - T6, its funny you say that's sub par, not true what so ever.

i have a Sym Crox was a 125cc! its got a 180cc bigbore kit and a bigger carb and bigger exhaust i cant seem to find an upgraded head or a camshaft that will fit (My cam shaft sprocket has two bolts holding it onto the camshaft) and my cam shaft sits in a cage (it dosnt split in half) like the older GY6 models is there anyway i could face time you on whats app to show you my engine to see if you can work out if or what i can get for it im pritty sure its a GY6 but i think it could be a EURO 6 if such exsists

I want high end not in between. So I am going with a choke carburetor instead of the electric carburetor. And a bigger one so more gas.

I do mileage and I have one like the pro built.

A lot of it is a selling point. Not always accurate if you know what you’re Scooter ect. Takes and do the measurements yourself.

What if I have a 171cc already what do I need for a 205cc build

Great info! I have had scooters for years and I and the kids had a blast with them. Decided to get another one (we rode the proverbial hair off of the old ones).

Bought 2 grom 50cc clones (China) and what do you know they wouldn't get outta their own way so to speak so I did a 100cc bbk on em. Not faster, just adequate power for pulling hills and scooting from a stop.

My question is this:

Now that it has power it outruns the one gear pullies and will run past the redline so do you have or know of a CDI that has a adjustable (screwdriver style) rev limiter? I like around 92 or 93 thousand but each are different so I need to be able to tune them per application.

Just can't put anyone on these things until I get that solved as most can't understand or feel too many rpm's.

I like the bbk and they are no longer underpowered so you won't get run over on the street or slog up a hill at 20mph but without a rev limiter ya just can't put a newbee on it without the risk of crank bearing failure or worse.

So a cdi with a manual screw driver adjustable rev limiter is key for me right now.

Could a gy6 with big bore kit get 250-300kg of weight up to 100kmh fast?

So would your 171 big bore kit work on my KP Mini 150cc? Would it give it more top end? I am only 120 pounds but I am looking for a top speed of 75 so I can bring it on the interstate.

For almost 600$ I’ll take my odds on my spare case take my time and hone it for a cast kit😂

SSP-G claims they have a 241cc 67mm big bore kit. Is this accurate? I thought 232cc was as big as you could go.

What could be causing some popping and bogging at 2/3 - 3/4 throttle on a 150cc GY6 scooter? Can you think of anything electrical that can be.causing this? I've already installed 3 new carburetors, 3 different csi boxes, different coil wires, and a couple other things and I can't seem to get rid of it. Would a bad stator or rectifier be the cause? Can you help me please? I am really just so frustrated right now.

I decided to sell my house down in Dade city fl and moved up into the country in Obrien Fl. and its a lot different then city life so I just decided to buy and fix up scooters from 49c threw 250cc mine will be the Roketa 250cc b54 . Anyway I'm very impressed with your program and most likely start getting some big bore kits from your company . Your very intelligent mechanic on scooters. Such a very way you represent your self I don't see why any one that has a heart to be there own mechanic Your very understandable. Your a very good teacher and love your work. What size jets should I use, it is a cheap 100cc big bore, so probably a 83cc or so, I have a performance air filter and exhaust, thanks

Some info for anyone who has a real gy6 china ped... mine is a very rare 125cc Ariic, but model was released i think in 2018 there are older models, anyways mine is a short case 10" wheel (fuel injection) and yes a big bore 150cc kit works perfect so do it as no videos will show its possible but it is. Also i took the stock variator and filed the top of every ramp until thin and steep after smoothing the best i could i coated it with clear lacker faintly do not get it to drip spray, after dry i then added only 3 of the 12g rollers or 10g not sure, i play with it sometimes but oh its a beast. I also forgot to mention i added a rear performance clutch yes it looks like the stock but is only about £30 and is black with red springs and because it is 4 stroke i leave the black stock main clutch spring and im going to add a race cam with steeper ovals. Its a lovely beast of a machine and also stock exhaust and remove the air filter face cover it has a dedicated open filter srewed in under the air filter face plate dont remove that though if rains re attach the cover but first trim around the air access port on the filter face plate to enlargen it a lil. It rides almost like a 2 stroke or pit bike also a wheelie machine to say my bike is heavier than a vespa i think also engines are tanks i swear it never lets me down only other bits have so far unrelated to engine like kick stand, i reckomend replace most weak screws with British ect. Does cylinder wall thickness on these kits effect reliability? Will a smaller bore with a thicker jug last longer than the largest bore with thinner walls.
