Im gon be real honest, im jealous of these people lowkey, i was born in Hong Kong and we had a family dog over there and i loved him to bits. Only lived there for the first 4 years of my life and then moved to the UK. No dogs in the family after I was born. Somewhere along the way i found out my grandma had given our family dog in HK to someone else because it was barking too much and honestly, our family is too lazy to keep pets as high maintenance as dogs. Ever since the day I left HK to the UK i been wanting a puppy to raise and be my bestest best friend. I always hear stories of when my sister when she was younger had a dog named Lucky in Nepal (our motherland) as there are lots of stray dogs there they had taken that specific dog in their home. I've heard many other stories of my mother having dogs ( she loves pets the most but refuses to buy it because of the poop, furr and etc ). I am now 16 years old, still no best friend to be here by my side. (Fun fact when before we were about to leave from Hong Kong to the UK, our mother promised us that she will buy a dog just to convince us that we have to go to the UK, the promise was never kept. She just said no after we arrived to the UK) i've always felt like it was so unfair for the rest of our family members to have personal experiences for when they had great relationships with dogs in their past. And im just sitting here wishing I had one. Whenever i see pet owners with dogs (or cats cause i wanted cats too at a young age at one point for a long time) i just get jealous of them in my mind and idek anymore. I just gave up asking my mum for a dog,

I lost my little buddy last month. This is very big loss for me! I always will miss him! He was the best dog, he is the best dog and he will be the best dog! My dog in my heart! No dog can replace him! ❤

My doggo died a few years ago and every apartment we've moved to since won't allow pets but we can't afford the stupid expensive ones that do. Every time I see someone else getting a dog, I cry from how much I miss having that companionship. Someone came into an office I was in with their little pug and I got to spend a few minutes giving it some good scritches behind the ears. I almost broke down. If you are lucky enough to have a pooch in your life, treat them as the walking blessing that they are and love them as unconditionally as they love you.
