Finally found a decent review of the awning, seems there’s not many 270s available in good old Blighty.
6 months on would you still recommend?

Hi guys, I'm looking at getting the 270 degree awning. One question, the part right at the front, the last segment of fabric if you like, that just goes over the bonnet, is that standard on the newest awning from Direct 4x4 as in the ones on their website it doesn't seem to have this part? Any help much appreciated! Love the setup.

Great Setup :D Awning makes lives better. Highy recommend changing roofrack screws in to stainless ones (Direct4x4 you hear that guys? :D )

How long did your previous awning last? or did you change it just for the sake of a darker colour? It looks useful, but I could do with spending £900 on servicing before getting an awning...

Hmmm, can you add any more racksupports? Four on both Side`s is the minimum. Add not too much to the Roof - Moly is no tipper...
The Rack look`s Bombproof - that`s very fine. And you have a little porch :-))

Awsum setup guys The 270 awning and roof rack are just the ticket wish we-had a Direct 4x4 store here in NZ .How are you finding your tough dog shockys as thinking of getting some .Take care out there.

Bet this lockdown is driving you guys insane? Going to get a 270 awning this year but so many to choose from and some are insanely priced. Next project for me is the drop down kitchen on the boot, hoping to start that soon. Anyway have fun 😎👍
