It's crazy how someone can be so intelligent and so brainwashed at the same time.

If it was a little easier to believe the US was the "good guys" I'm sure more would jump onboard.
I'm not saying they're worse than China, but look at the history of the CIA, legitimacy of foreign wars, the morality of the military industrial complex etc.

Just simply putting moral standards higher would have resulted in far more security and strength. There would hardly be a country opposed to the US and for the ones who were it would be easy to consider them morally the bad guys and everyone else would be ready to side together.

Though guy bully tactics are short term wins with bigger long term costs. Sure, you have to be strong, but the moment you lose sight of moral foundation you're just another bully making the world a worse place, potentially making enough enemies that you're eventually outmatched. Such a waste of a great foundation and constitution. I guess all power eventually corrupts.

Digital data can be tampered with. Very easy. You can destroy someone’s life very easily. They will believe that they are in danger because you know what their fear is. But in fact, they are not.
