Story 2 YTA for not involving the cops or the courts. You know damn well you're not going to get the money or stolen stuff back unless you involve them. Because your sister is clearly one of those it's okay for my child to rob you or she's just a kid mom's.

Story 1: Oh man, this is hands down the biggest dream of pretty much anyone that has ever worked in any sort of customer service. First of all, i would've banned her from that dispensary a long time ago, and second, don't you think this stupid Karen would've both been a little nicer to people considering she is in a similar line of work and gotten the hint that maybe this is how she is treating others? Good lord, that woman was just stupid. A classic case of dish it out but can't take it.
Story 2: No way is the OP a jerk here, but is a dullard. If the niece or parents don't pay back for the perfume the niece stole, i would 100% file a police report. Don't try and pull the 'family' card here. She stole, plain and simple... and then was selling the stolen good too. She had zero right to take anything here, and definitely had zero rights to sell them. The niece is 17, there is no way that this is a "mistake". She new exactly what she was doing. I say file charges here... dont be a doormat.
Story 3: OP isnt a jerk at all here. Why do so many people do this? If you want to be a parental-figure, fine, but dont force it on anyone. You're only going to make things worse and have them be resentful. Mary seemed to understand this, but Stacy didn't... and neither did the OP's dad. It's fine for the OP's dad to have a new girlfriend or wife or whatever, but listen to your kids when they say they dont want a new mom or dad or whatever. Why didn't the dad take this seriously? Does he want the OP to hate him or something? I can totally see the OP moving out at 18 and going low to no contact with the dad here over all of this.
Story 4: OP is not a jerk at all, and i would've 100% done the same thing here. A lot of younger drivers are idiots, and the OP had a good head on his shoulders by "driving like a grandma" here. Why be just another idiot on the roads? Also, its the OP's car, so yeah, the OP's rules, like no food/drink... along with regular driving rules, like seatbelts. Dont like it? Dont get in my car. This "friend" was 100% at fault for this crash, especially after seeing the footage. I know i would never want to be a passenger in his car. You did warn this guy about the insurance, and he chose not to listen and made things worse. Honestly, if i were the OP, i would cut all these "friends" off. They are an early funeral waiting to happen.
Story 5: Absolutely not the jerk here. Are you kidding me? If i were the OP, not only would i not be giving them rides to school, but i would tell the sister that if they dont back off and smarten up, that all of them would be out of the house and on their own. The sister is a complete ingrate and doesnt seem to parent her kids very much here, if she constantly brushes off everything her kids do to Ethan. The OP needs to look after his own family first and if that means no car rides or even no accomodation, then so be it. Also, why isn't the rest of the family willing to take her and her kids in?
Story 6: Yeah, the different time zone can be annoying, but this guy was out of line here. Nevermind security, i would've banned him from the airline and airport. Good on the gate agent for going the extra mile for the OP and making the old guy wait longer and longer.
