The Philippines' journey toward industrialization is a dynamic process, marked by economic diversification and technological advancements. Encouraging sectors like manufacturing and innovation will likely play a pivotal role in fostering sustainable growth and global competitiveness for the nation. Thus, with all the growth achieved by the nation still it remains a third world country with low minimum wage, high prices on goods and energy and poor transportation this problems should be a driven factor for the government to make more better negotiations with other countries in order to attract more investors that makes opportunities for the population.

The Philippines is experiencing increasing urbanization, a burgeoning middle class, and a large and youthful population. The Philippines' service sector, which employs over 56% of the labor force and accounts for about 60% of GDP, is the backbone of the nation's economic growth. With that in mind the Philippines should also help their industrial and agricultural sectors

The Philippines' connection to the United States facilitated a rapid transition in the economy from farming to the service sector. However, as the service sector continues to prosper, the economy also encounters challenges such as underdeveloped infrastructure and insufficient resources. Despite these challenges, the Philippines excels in business outsourcing and remittances.
This shows that the remittances from our OFWs also help boost our country's GDP

The Philippine is known as having a overpopulated country. The Philippine economy transitioning from agricultural base to industry base and service sector help our GDP increase and because of the influence of United State in our culture ,it help us in our service sector and make their languange as the secondary that very helpful to communicate to other country and having a good education in the philippines help the economy grow.
However the problem were facing about our transportation difficulties, poor infrastructure and etc. making it hard for the Philippines to compete to other countries to have more foreign investor and make it hard to have more possibilities/opportunities to open up and help the Philippine economy grow faster

The video provided a thorough analysis of the Philippines' economic situation that emphasizes the country's service sector's explosive expansion, which has been fueled by its past as a US colony. Notable are the effects of English's widespread use as a language and the nation's achievements in business process outsourcing. The industrial sector's difficulties, which include infrastructure problems and geographic limitations, provide important insights into the Philippines' larger economic dynamics.

The Philippines' rapid economic transition from agriculture to a dominant service sector, influenced by its history as a former US territory, has led to a significant contribution to GDP and employment. With English proficiency and cultural similarities driving success in business process outsourcing, the service sector now employs more than half of the country's workforce. However, challenges faced by the industrial sector, such as geographical constraints, transportation difficulties, and infrastructure issues, highlight the complex dynamics shaping the Philippines' economic landscape.

In order to make the Philipppines a progressive country, their constitution must be amended, revised or totally overhauled. Feudalistic system of politics is still prevalent across the economic, social, cultural and political spectrum of governnance.

Can you guys answer this for me🥺
1. Analyze socialism and Capitalism in relation to the Philippine society. Which of these economic systems would work in the country?
2. What are the effects of the information revolution in today’s society?
3. Do you think the positive effects of multinational corporations outweigh the negative effects? Why or Why not?
4. What do you think are the ways to lessen, if not eliminate, the negative consequences of multinational corporations?

The Philippine economy has recently been one of Asia's top achievers. However, the economy is nonetheless constrained by its inadequate and obsolete infrastructure. These initiatives are anticipated to have a significant positive impact on both the economy and daily lives of ordinary residents in the Philippines. For instance, improved internet and transportation connections would make it easier for farmers to sell their produce, such bananas and mangoes, and increase the income of the rural community. Economic development and growth are significantly influenced by agriculture. It is a fundamental component of human existence since it provides nourishment. It is a significant contributor to economic activity in other areas of the economy since it provides industrial raw materials. In general, better infrastructure services will lower costs of conducting business, draw in more investment, and increase productivity across the nation. Also E-invoicing and digital national identity cards are two examples of public information technology infrastructure upgrades that would increase efficiency and transparency while assisting in the fight against corruption.

The economy here in the Philippines is rising as time goes by. Seeing so much infrastructure arise has given opportunities to different businesses and people. To accelerate our economy we should focus on other issues such as food insecurity, poor quality of education, and poverty. Many poor households remain vulnerable. They need to change also roads, bridges, and airports to attract more tourists and investors to our country without a hassle. It is an example of physical investment. We need to develop the country's infrastructure because of small things like this foreign people remember when they visit a country the convenience they attain. - Dumayas, Ellyssa R.

Philippines is one of the most beautiful places in the world because its surround by water but the agriculture is poor especially now, that peso is low and the prices is high. It’s okay that the services are high because it helps the economy to grow, but at the same time we should not forget what we started how Philippines became famous because of its places and people around it. In the time like this we should help each other especially the government, not blaming our farmers and fishers because of its hard work.

Any change in the culture has to start within the family and in the education system. So, we have to increase entrepreneurial awareness to make our own products and just the right focus on education. Only then can we truly gain our pride as a people and stop this desire of becoming willing slaves.

Current Philippines is great for rich locals but they are getting behind even to Vietnam. Cambodia and Laos will eventually pass Philippines because it doesn't want to develop using foreign capital using it's anti foreign investment policy. Outsiders need 2/3 local ownership to start a business and foreigners can't get loans from local banks. Rich Filipinos don't want to share their wealth with outsiders which means they are doing just fine without outsiders and want to maintain their wealth thus nothing changes in Philippines. It's one of worst investment country for outsider. Philippines rely heavily on wire fund from Filipinos working abroad which is 9% of its GDP thus 6% growth doesn't mean anything when 9% of its GDP capital came in from foreign countries by Filipinos.

Bullshit! The reason we were behind in industrialization was because US enacted Bell Free Trade to Philippines despite our independence. This colonial economic policy persisited despite us having independent and fought your wars when you made it conditional for your economic aid!!! 1950s was an attempt to industrialize the country but US maintained a Free Trade Deal with the country to export its finished products and buy Philippines' raw materials as a result our consumers are buying more expensive finished product from our own raw materials, domestic industries and producers were at the mercy of US business!

Not attractive for FDI due to Corazon Aquino who stopped infrastructure funding, made electricity, water, gas and telecoms expensive by selling the government arms to the oligarchs. Low infrastructure funds caused daily carmageddons and public transport chaos. Frequent flooding because Cory stopped flood mitigating projects. Expensive education cost because of Cory but not until Duterte made it free.

There is an error in your content. YES, Americans have greatest effects in our culture. However, Philippines is an independent country. It just suffer from occupation of 3 nations. I am disagree of what you stated that Philippines is a former territory of United States. America conquer Philippines for almost 55yrs. So I'm quite disappointed. If you insist that, I will also categorize US as a former territory of British.
