So-called "Edward G. Robinson" was not even his real name. Obviously. Emanuel Goldenberg sold-out his birth moniker in the name of 'Hollywood' shallowness & deceit?! In other words, from pressure of a greedy Agent(s) and or Studio(s), with preconceived notions of greater recognition & better financial gain?! The worst part is the disrespect of parents and family heritage.

Thanks for posting, really good film with peerless performances from EGR and OW. Sole gripe: the subtitles do noit match what the voices are saying

I saw this movie on TMC a few years ago excellent cast Orson Welles Edward G Robinson and Loretta Young great movie.
