- There is an anime which gives a bit of a bisexual-harem-vibe, which was hella funny: Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo
- The video is generally well done, but it lacks more differentiation. For example the 4 demographics don't belong in the genre-video, same as ecchi (or hentai).
- Then you missed some important genre (thriller/suspense, mystery, horror to name 3 important genres or even Avant Garde, but also the more specific ones such as shounen ai and shoujo ai)
- And some of the genres you covered, were only generally explained, but there is a much bigger nuance to it - for example that there are romance targeted for males (Kaguya-sama is a Seinen), romance targeted for females (Fruits Basket is a Shoujo) and there are some romance anime which are targeted to general audience (examples are the classic Ghibli movies such as Howl no Ugoku Shiro)
- another too generalized thing was the music genre - there is general music such as Bocchi, but there is a whole different world for female idols or male idols
- there also other wanna-be genres/themes, which gained their own categories over the years such a CGDCT (cute girls doing cute things), Iyashikei (anime to "heal you") psychological and time travel which is gaining more popularity
- something worth mentioning are also visual novels, because no matter the genre, they usually have their own fanbase from playing the game, also most of the time the anime leaves one confused if you didn't play the game (perfect example is Amnesia - not the horror game! - where I watched the anime adaptation in confusion and when I played the otome game years later, the whole anime began to make sense and got pieced together)

I wrote a lot, but that's because I've been watching anime for over 2 decades and some things were not explained accurate enough to explain to people who r not/barely familiar with anime and who want a rundown of genres. Speaking of which, depending on the website, some websites like MAL consider Mecha a theme and not a genre.

Labelling gintama as 'comedy' is a crime. It is shonen, action, parody, comedy, romance, sci-fi, fantasy, drama, etc.. It is about a man trying to get through his life with a smile on his face with the ppl around him despite all the pain from the aftermath of his goal

i’m writing what I think is an “isekai” about 4 gods/goddess getting reincarnated into a world but I don’t even know if it’s an isekai anymore.
-the point when the story start is 30 years after their reincarnation and they were used to the world already
-the world they live before was never shown in the story and only small pieces of unimportant information were revealed in some of narrator’s jokes
-the knowledge of the protagonists make no use since they’re all “godly knowledge” and the protagonists are weak mortals now so they can’t use them

Yet their goal is similar to all isekai protagonists, defeat the antagonist and return to their world

just a bit about seinen genre, they dont always means to have dark themes. a lot of slice of life anime has a seinen demographic like yuru camp or non non biyori. this is because those anime are targeted to people who need an escape from busy life and just want to chill while watching anime, like turning off the brain and just let the beauty of the setting calm the busy mind. even some romcom belong to this demographic like kubo won't let me be invisible or 100 girlfriends.
